  1. recently i've seen a few pics of hayley driving. and she says in the blog how she would drive around sometimes, back at home. so that led me to thinking...... what kind of car do you think she drives? and how AWESOMEEEE would it be to get a ride from her?? i bet she likes to sing REALLY loud when she's driving. and just goof around the entire time lol :]
  2. after watching them play live a couple times and listening to their cds over and over again, this is just something i was thinking about..... are josh, jeremy and zac self-taught musicians? hayley is a different story. i know she said she took lots of vocal lessons to improve her range and pitch and whatnot, which CLEARLY paid off. but idk about the guys and how they learned their instruments. because i think josh mentioned in some interview before that he simply learned guitar from playing songs he heard off the radio and that he was too dumb to teach himself how to read music lol. and zac supposedly was a natural on the drums.
  3. i'm pretty sure we're all aware of the band cancelling the rest of their UK tour. we all know that now. and we all feel very sorry for all the UK fans. i can't imagine how disappointing this situation is for you guys. but what REALLY has us wondering is whats going on with paramore!? their lj post really didn't clarify much. and i think this is pretty serious, considering the fact that they're keeping it on the DL for now. because they don't really like to make us worried. however, i think they might be experiencing another paramore-implosion. the last one happened on warped tour 07 when they all caught a serious case of homesickness and josh was on the verge of breaking down. they managed to overcome that pretty quickly though. and nobody really knew because they always appeared so happy and put on a hell of a show at EVERY tour date. but THIS potential implosion seems to be a big deal. i have no idea whats going on with them, but i hope everything works out for the best. i really really really hope so. even the best bands don't always last forever, but let's not hope that it's paramore's time to throw in the towel......
  4. lol @ the club soda vid. "its a really funny name for a club. you know, cause its club soda......like soda water. except its a club where you play at. kinda ironic huh?" lmao. that was pretty cute :]
  5. so lately i've been checking out paramore.net to see the new pics that the band posts on the mobile stream. am i the only one who has been doing this? i just think it's cool how they share those pics with all of us. it's like they treat us like one big group of close friends, ya know? cause they take pics of family, friends, them hanging out, their hometown...... and sometimes the pics are just totally random and silly. lmao haha i love it :]
  6. if you think this is another thread where one of us professes our love for ms. williams, then you're slightly wrong. i actually wanted to talk about a part from paramore's article in the new AP mag. it's when josh is discussing the relationship between hayley and himself. "friendhship". don't think i'm trying to imply anything. he clearly stated they're just best friends. and so is hayley and the rest of the guys. but there was a time when all the guys in the band had their eyes set on their extremely cute lead singer...... [source: AP Magazine Feb. 08] "Everybody in the band all had crushes on her (hayley) when she was in high school, but she's not that type of girl. There really are so many attractive things about her: She's fun to be around, has a good personality and of course, she's cute, so i can see why people think that." - Josh
  7. i just read about this in paramore's article in the new AP mag. i'll just kinda quote the article for those who haven't read it. i thought it was actually pretty interesting. and i had no idea that the band was going through a breakdown during warped tour. because they looked like they were having such a good time. but that just goes to show you, an overload of press and a constantly hectic schedule can takes its toll on even the happiest bands. let's just be extremely grateful that it didn't lead to a breakup....... [source: AP Magazine Feb 08] The culmination of pressures from performing, coupled with the commitments to both fans and press, came to a head last summer when the band began to implode on Warped Tour. "On that tour, there were days where we would just fight and we had no time to breathe," Williams explains. "One day, Josh just started bawling and was like, 'i just need to go home'. That's when we realized we weren't really looking out for ourselves, we were just looking out for everyone else's interests-which is pretty much just [about] money."
  8. lol @ the part when they played miz biz and hayley was like "gahh i love them. their singer is such a b*@#h." it was cute the way she kinda covered her mouth when she said it haha :]
  9. and i just realized i posted this in the wrong section. i meant to post this under the "everything" section. oops lol :/
  10. i just couldn't resist picking up the MVI version of riot. i was at a hastings earlier today buying some new cds (btw pick up jimmy eat world's new cd. it's the s#*@t) and i came across the "p" section. of course, a column FULL of paramore cds had to be in the front. and i noticed they had the MVI version of riot in front of the stack. i looked at it and i was like, "nah. no way i'm buying practically the same cd twice. the one i have is in great condition. this would just be a waste of 20 bucks". 10 minutes later, i end up including it with my stack of cds at checkout. i didn't know paramore was so persuasive. i'd prolly buy "riot toothpaste" if i saw it at the store lol. but it wasn't a complete waste like i thought: 1) the videos are AMAZING. the picture is so clear and the sound really makes you feel like you're actually there. very impressive. not to mention, the little warped tour documentary and making of riot was pretty cool too. 2) the actual music seems like it's slightly better in quality and sound. and i do enjoy the two acoustic songs. the two live songs are kinda neat too because you get the "live paramore experience" in audio so you can listen to it whenever.
  11. you know what? it really would be amazing if they won...... because that means, from then on, we could officially refer to them as "Grammy-award winning Paramore". and what would be sweeter than that, right? :]
  12. well i was just looking at hayley's band member profile on the new paramore.net (which you should totally check out. it's actually pretty awesome) and i was reading all of her little facts and interests. i actually found out alot about her that i didn't know already. but i thought it was kinda funny when she put "not telling" next to the dating and tattoos sections. lol. way to leave your fans curious, hayley. i bet she has a huge "riot" tattoo across her lower back or something. lmao. hahahaha ;]
  13. well i wasn't there. but i'm pretty sure he was fixing her earpiece equipment. i guess the reception went out on the receiver on her belt or something. because hayley always wears her glitter colored, "shoot dangit" earpiece whenever she's singing on stage lol
  14. i found this video on helio's youtube site. it's really short but i guess it's kinda entertaining. basically paramore is enjoying a wild-n-crazy night in classic rockstar fashion.........throwing gummy bears back and forth at each other lol. (hayley looked pretty comfortable huddled up on that couch) http://youtube.com/watch?v=toAccA3y9ro
  15. this was from the austin tour date on november 18th. (and for those who haven't seen this video yet) basically, jeremy misses his "flip opportunity" at the end of pressure and hayley calls him out for it. (notice how taylor tries to run up and go for the flip instead lol) pretty funny. hayley- "wow. what a loser dude.....gosh you just let a WHOLE city down" lmao this is prolly the most legendary jeremy-josh flip in the history of paramore. and i'm glad i was there to witness it firsthand. check it out :] (credit to myheartis_yours for finding this vid. idk who actually filmed it though lol)
  16. it took me awhile to realize it. but after seeing them perform live a couple times now, i realize her voice is actually not as deep as i thought it would be. her voice is actually kinda tiny, just like her body. but omg i think it sounds so sexy. she sounds absolutely adorable when she talks :]
  17. ^^ yeah. thats the video right there. it basically shows everything i described lol. everyone watch it. jeremy gets his spotlight moment :]
  18. recently i've realized how much paramore has changed, compared to before. i don't mean "bad" change but definitely change for the better. these are the two main points of what i mean. 1) maturity- as a band, i've noticed that they matured alot. i guess you can say as people they've matured too. they're really no longer looked at as a "teenage girl-fronted" band. because they proved how focused and determined they are. they're so professional in what they do. 2) the live show- i'm pretty sure everyone noticed how much more amazing and spectacular they are live. they seem to play flawlessly on stage and with a level of passion that i've never seen in them before. they give 110% from the beginning of their set to the end. and the live show is MUCH more hardcore. hayley is headbanging and jumping around stage more than ever before (it's almost like her head is gonna hit the floor) and the guys are getting their chance to shred and rock out more than ever with these solos and breakdowns. (plus they're playing sold-out venues almost every night. amazing.) basically i LOVE it :] they're gradually becoming the "ultimate" paramore that they've worked so hard to be. and all their hard work really shows. paramore is better than ever now. and still constantly getting better. i think the future is looking extremely bright for them. there's DEFINITELY "paramore where that came from"
  19. we all know about josh and jeremy's legendary flip they perform near the end of "pressure". but at the austin show tonight, it took him awhile before he did it. i still remember the dialogue so here's how it went: (jeremy skips flip near end of pressure) hayley- "dude you missed your opportunity. you had the opportunity to do the flip and you missed it." (jeremy smiles and shrugs his shoulders) hayley- "wow jeremy.....what a loser. you just let down an ENTIRE city tonight." (hayley give the crowd a disappointed look) hayley- "wow. i'm so sorry guys. i know ya'll wanted to see jeremy do his flip tonight. but i guess it ain't happening......unless you wanna redeem yourself jeremy." hayley- "actually let's just go ahead and play that WHOLE last chorus over again." (the band plays the last chorus of pressure again) after alot of anticipation and a bit of hesitation, jeremy and josh do their flip in the center of the stage and the crowd goes absolutely crazy i guess you kinda had to be there to visualize it. but it was actually pretty cool for jeremy to have that spotlight for a moment. that just shows how much we LOVE the flip. never ever forget to do the flip jeremy lol
  20. and this is prolly with any band that i like. but this would be especially awesome if paramore did it. anyways, it would be SO cool if (for at least one song) all the band members could just switch instruments on stage. like if they were to do it for the last song of the encore, misery business. josh- switch to lead vocals (cause i wanna hear how he would sound singing lead for once) hayley- rhythm guitar jeremy- drums taylor- bass zac- lead guitar it's basically impossible but it's something i've always wanted to see them do. i know it might seem kinda awkward but i think it would be SO amazing if they were able to do that for just one song. plus, hayley would look pretty darn sexy with an electric guitar ;]
  21. yup, that's right. sorry for those who weren't able to get tickets for this date. but it is now officially SOLD-OUT! along with like the next 5 or 6 tour dates lol. austin TX, nov. 18th @ stubb's bbq doors open @ 5:30. (but make sure you get there early if you wanna in the front)
  22. it IS going to be say anything. paramore just posted a bulletin on myspace about it. i guess hayley couldn't wait to spill the beans lol
  23. VERY good documentary. like others have been saying, it really captures the true essence of paramore and who they really are.....just a bunch of down-to-earth kids that love playing music and enjoying life together. that video that actually made me feel alot closer with them, not just as a band but as people too. they're just so genuine and that's why i love those guys so much. i'm more stoked than ever to see them perform now. 3 more days :]
  24. because that's what i'm assuming. even though paramore is playing for like an hour or a little over an hour sometimes (depending on how talkative hayley is that night lol) but i remember seeing them at warped tour. and their 30-min set only felt like 10 minutes. everyone was having so much fun and getting caught up in the moment that the time just flew by. then it was all over..... and i figured if it felt like 10 mins for a 30-min set, then this tour date i'm going to is prolly only gonna feel like 20 mins. and it's gonna go by so quick and leave me wanting more. did anyone feel like that at the show they went to? did paramore's set seem like it went by really quick (even with the encore) and you just weren't ready for them to leave yet?
  25. does anyone have any pics of the starting line merch too? if they even had a merch table.....?
