Alright so I got inspired by a movie on TNT and just had to write this lol.
She looks out through, her windowsill is gleaming with
The touch of snow that’s falling from beneath the clouds
She breathes up a breeze of anguish that’s been running through her heart since
They told her, “You will never get further from here.”
They told her it wasn’t worth to dare it all,
But would the desire disappear?
She glances once more up to the dreadful silence
She can’t even touch the song that has been whistling through her parents’ dorm,
But how can a song just run so still through a mind of deserted feelings,
That’s what she asks herself and once more
They told her to give it up and move on
But what if the opportunity roamed near?
The girl had a dream,
And would she let it slip?
Chorus:
No!
That night she left her home to find out
What that one calling was for
It was quite unusual for her to believe
It was something deeper than how they made her feel
And she wouldn’t look back
Her footsteps would leave a trace of shattered layers
She had been dropping down since she crossed through that door
And from the corner of her eye, she saw on the snow, she signed:
“Gone to get far for more”.
And so she kept on, her fingertips were falling, they were falling
Into an undetermined state of cold, she felt cold, she would not deny
But her will just roared inside like a little flame that starts to lit in the middle of
a dark empty spot residing in every person’s heart
And even though they told her making illusions out of reality was insane,
She stepped up and told them, “This is my game; no pain, no gain.”
They stared at her in awe; she just moved on, she had to keep on panting
Up the frozen heaps of blizzard air that would hit against her lips,
They told her to keep going, just keep going, could she believe her ears?
They told her to breathe in now, breathe it out, they held their fears
To provide her the support she had been awaiting oh, since so long,
Wondered if snowing would turn into storm?
The girl had a dream,
And would she let it slip?

No!
That night she left her home to find out

Held up candles in the middle of a fight to stop piercing blades of victorious thirst
And they used to tell her it would come to an end, before it would begin
But look at her now, look who has blasted in, who’s kept going until this day,
In which all the good seeds finally set in growth
And the girl had a dream,
And she made it happen.
She made it happen.
