ParamoreTotallyRules 67 Report post Posted November 16, 2013 The first three albums of Paramore were great. You knew the style, you knew what to expect. Now their latest album PARAMORE, Hayley sings a little differently. Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me? Don't get me wrong, I still love it. Just wondering. "I told 'em all where to stick it, I left town with a dime to my name. Said I'm done with all of my fake friends, self-righteous pawns in a loosing game." Dustin 2,108 Report post Posted November 16, 2013 It's certainly an evolution. I don't think that's a secret, or that Hayley wants anyone to think otherwise. But it's the same with any band. I'm fine with it. Of course, there's always a vibe I get from Paramore that I expect to a degree, but as far as her writing style and music genre lines that she crosses, I don't mind if they change. If I like it, I like it. It doesn't have to meet any guidelines. That's just me, of course
Chriss 10,903 Report post Posted November 16, 2013 I've noticed her vocal style changing, but it certainly wasn't just with this album. I remember hearing the little vocal run she does in That's What You Get all the way back in 2007 and being shocked she could sing like that, and she's been impressing and surprising me ever since. A singer's voice takes a while to mature, and Hayley's voice is definitely getting there. I swear it's better every time she records something new.
watchthesky 53,280 Report post Posted November 16, 2013 personally i noticed the biggest jump between all we know is falling and riot, but that was more so the actual tone of her voice maturing with age than a difference in style i think it's kind of gradually evolved with each album live is another story, i've definitely noticed the way she sings live has changed
ParamoreTotallyRules 67 Report post Posted November 16, 2013 I agree she never sounds different live. And I love her voice, she does get better with each album, I think that's why it's changed so much. Because she's found how to sing so her voice is perfect.
