sophie
^haha i cant wait till i can drive (even though i probely won't have a car haha) i really wanna know the reasoning behind these small venues and like weird choice of place.
GibbyPhills
^ Yeah I passed my test over 2 years ago and when i finally saved the money for a car I got my job in London which meant I didn't have a need for a car.
sophie
yeah living in London you pretty sorted, unless obioulsy you wanna see a band more than once on a tour.
hayleh
i think they are playing in small places cos it's not a proper tour or something. like, i'm guessing they'll be back again for the new album. this is just to promote it int it? sophie
yh, i guess. if they play reading/leeds maybe they'll do a bigger tour then or in september/october time. who knows?!

megazord
and also i think they're playing small places cos they maybe don't realise how much of a following they've built up since the last tour..

megazord
colchester IS in essex. but essex is, as the name suggests, east. its in east anglia which is the little bit that sticks out above london, towards like ipswich, chelmsford etc... exit_152
Sophie, to get there from Reading you've gotta go to Paddington then get the tube to Liverpool Street then get the train from there to Colchester and it takes roughly 3 hours, sometimes 2 & a half, sometimes 4 & a half depending on how long you've got between changes =| Stupidly, I'm going though. I've got a friend who lives in Norwich so I'm meeting her at Colchester but I have that huuuuuuuuuuge train journey on my own. The other problem is I'm supposed to be going back to school the day after but I'm gonna tell my mum that it's an inset day and hope I can get away with it. I think I love Paramore a little too much for my own good...
8ounty
I've just been on the Colchester Arts Centre site. Here's the details: PARAMORE Date: Sun 10 Jun 2007 Doors Open: 7:00 PM Price: £10 (Event has sold out) An exclusive warm-up show from these emo superstars from Franklin, Tennessee. All ages show! Here's the link: http://www.colchesterartscentre.com/event_display.php?event_id=820 I've found one ticket on Ebay, but that's it. I'd love to go but a 200+ mile journey is a bit much. Oh, and Colchester is in Essex!
no_ross
hmm... i live in aberdeen... contemplating driving down if i can get myself guestlisted... wonder how long a drive it is... HAHA
hayleh
like 15 hours or something man, lmfao.
megazord
It's such a mission to get there, because from most places you have to go to London, then back up to Colchester. If you live south I guess it doesn't seem so silly but it does when I live like just west of Colchester!
hayleh
aye, that would be a pain in the arse. pointless n stuff.
