  1. So Annoyed that i found out about Big Weekend too late... Would be my first chance to see them in the uk on my birthday since Full Ponty in 2007!
  2. it was a basic arena 3 camera setup they did in wembly... 2 cameramen front of the stage and one boom, used to provide live feeds to the projectors. the quality of footage and camera directions in my opinion would not be sufficient for a live dvd, and since they used the same setup in other venue's im just going with footage for the projectors. if you watch most live dvd's from a venue the size of wembly, there are a lot more than 3 camera's, but then again the camera guys filmed 1 song from each of the supports too... which did NOT apear on the projectors... so a live DVD may be a possibility... oh the mystery! if their is one i would love to see it, i was barrier and had 3 short girls either side of me... im 6'5" the paper route guys remembered me at KOKO and said it was because i stood out so much!
  3. Well putting aside the roughly 16 hour delays i had with my flights, and the fact i landed in east midlands instead of London and had to pay for a taxi... that was possibly the best night of my LIFE they played so tight, even in comparison to Glasgow last week! and my heart was AMAZING! especially getting to see josh screaming live! You me at six played pretty good, and finally seeing them with eliza was awesome, always attract was pretty cool. Paper route just blew me away, went to see them afterwords playing another set in KOKO and they were all the sweetest guys! A new first for me, seeing a band twice in one night, but they were phenomenal... Now Now Every Children, i am still not too sure about, i liked them, but i dont think they were a brilliant choice for opening act, and they have very little stage presence. Was at the barrier directly infront of taylor which was pretty cool, and got to catch up with JJ, Laura and sammi, who are all awesome! it was pretty freaking cold even at the barrier! And on top of that, congratulations to the couple who got engaged on stage, that was probably the cutest thing i have ever seen in my entire life.
  4. Glasgow was good and bad for me... Got to the barrier during paper route, but felt like i was gunna feint, so naturally i hit the bar... got to about 2-3 rows away during you me at six, who in my opinion played a pretty horrific set list, at least we got 1/2 of the roume! Paramore absolutley blew me away, i got to the barrier in the first 4 or 5 songs, but the crowd was crazy, falling over everywhere, i have so many bruises on my legs it is unreal! They played a pretty good set, the only song i wanted they didnt play was Born For This... i ended up back at the back of the crowd not long before the last few songs, i was exhausted and couldnt cope with the crowd any longer... Finally ended up in a friends hotel room at about half 12, and read hayley's tweet about being in the cathouse, i was so exhausted i didn't even bother going to meet them, which i am disapointed with myself for! all in all not bad, but the venue was horrile, ive seen them quite a few times now, and i'd rate it bottom of the list... but it still good if that makes sense.
  5. Anyone think we will see this again tomorrow? the kilt was sadly lacking at the carling academy gig :/
  6. I'll be in a blue t-shirt, black skinny jeans, pink arab scarf, and will have on 3 belts (bit of a giveaway) one with a big lowlife buckle, the other 2 pink and black studded, and white and black studded! and will be wearing my usual destroyed black converse Missed my bus so cant get to glasgow till 9am, so no campout for me Follow me on twitter, i usually post banter from the que http://www.twitter.com/rossriot and gimme a txt if anyone is stuck with directions or anything, getting to the venue or even city centre 07907027574 or even just to say hi (note to the mods, i only use this number to give out to people, so dont worry about it being on the forum) Also if anyone is stuck for a ticket, i have possibly got a couple spare, i stockpiled for my friends who couldnt get, but i have a feeling a couple of them are pulling out last minute...
  7. If anyone has a spare Early Entry, or needs a +1 for their guestlist... then i will swap it for my soul... or some cookies you decide Lucv yah all
  8. So who is all going? maybe we could have a little meet up? I am presuming that the 3 Ross' (myself included) will all be in attendance? Anyone planning an early Que up? And on a side-note, does anyone have a spare ticket, a lot of my friends are planning to buy off touts, but id rather hook them up with something more legit, and less touty!
  9. so far i have came to the conclusion that it is seating only, sold out, and french ebay is hard to use, LOL. As far as my bad french can tell me catagory 1 is the balcony and mezanine, and 2 is the stalls... can anyone help clear that up for me?
  10. Hey everyone, I really want to goto the show at casino de paris, i try to goto paris as much as i can, it brings back all the cool memories of living there as a kid, but my french is a bit... lets say ropey when it comes to reading!! can anyone help me figure out where to get tickets, and which ones to get? from what i can tell its a seating only show, so i wanna be as close to the front as possible! Cheers! Also, if anyone else is going to the show tell me, i think i might go insane in france on my own!
  11. I kinda like it, its a bit different, but like... good different!
  12. i havent heard anything but BBBB, ignorance and where the lines overlap... all of which i really like, but i think ignorance is the weaker of the three... i for the first time ever am waiting till the album comes out to listen... because i dont want first listen to be shitty recordings, i want the real deal

  15. HMV was insane, ive never been so tired in a long time as i was when i completley crashed at about 4 o clock on monday, no sleep at all and 2 hours to the show, but i somehow pulled through and witnessed the best paramore gig ever. im not even bothered about them not playing born for this or emergency... the outro was the best live song(can i call it a song in its own right??) ive ever seen them play! One of the best shows ive seen Blackout play in a long time too! The badge from islington is truely awesome! i wish id had enough money left on me to buy one of thoose islington paramore tee's! Rock on december Very Happy think i might try and make all 7 uk dates, plus paris, just because its in my favorite non-uk-venue!
  16. About 15 people here already... jj riot, laura.riot! Blaze I've met so far!!!

  20. also... as far as setlist goes im hoping for emergency, decode, miz biz, crushcrushcrush, ignorance, where the lines overlap, born for this, and a few more off bne... i cant believe no one has mentioned born for this yet, always been my favorite live song of theirs behind emergency
  21. the blackout are brilliant live, and the 2 frontmen act really well together to get the crowd going... ive seen them 25+ times and worked with them quite a few times, if anyone gets a change to meet them do it, theyre a lovley bunch of welsh jokers, plus shaun's hair and accent are the best. lol
