CaughtInTheRiot
(Did I even spell mural right? Oh well) I am making a mural (??) that is going to be approximatly 16 feet long and 8 feet high for my bedroom wall and I am going to be getting help from my Graphics Art teacher on which programs to use to expand the images, and I was also wondering if anyone has done this before so that I could get some tips? CaughtInTheRiot
Thanks I want to have a near-life-size image of them right in the center, probably the emergency video shoot poster, of all 5 of them with the carnations, and jeremy wearing velcro vans ( )

CaughtInTheRiot
I'll make sure to get one up, but I wouldn't really expect one for ATLEAST 2 months, I am going to have a ton of other stuff to be doing with school and everything, but hopefully my Graphics teacher will let me work on that instead of the normal stuff. Parawhore914
Yeah, it sounds really cool. I can't wait to see pics when it's all done. Sorry, I wish I could help you but I've never made a mural--at least not that big.
InsaneMuffin
Woooow! O.O That's gonna be so awesome! I'd love to see some pics. I'm sorry but I have no experience with this kind of stuff. I hope it all turns out amazingly
Wish_On_A_Star
That sounds like so much fun I dont know how to expand images without them being blury though, I suppose you could try enlarging them on a colour photocopier but that could get quite expensive. CaughtInTheRiot
I know of one program, but it definatly doesn't do it to the scale I need it. Adobe Illustrator does it well, but only for images smaller than 1 single piece of paper, and if I am going to be making images a couple of feet high and wide, I don't want it across multiple sheets because then it will look like a pre-cut birthday cake. (mmmm...) Anyhow, I will be posting pics of my progress, expect the first one in the next 2 weeks at the latest, and if anything happens then I will tell you, hopefully it goes smoothly. calciumwaste
i don't recall the name of the site, but there is a program that converts a greyscale image into black circles on a white background. the darker the area, the bigger the circle. that way you can blow it up really huge and instead of being pixelated, it looks like graphic art. i have a friend who did one, and she just printed it out on like 16 sheets of paper and mounted them on cardboard or plywood or something. I just don't have time, I just got my new school schedule and I have way too much work, and way too little time. I really sorry guys, I really wanted to do this. CaughtInTheRiot
I am taking Graphics Art, which is basically working with images in random Adobe products. Right now, though, we are creating our own business and we are working on logos and random items for it. If I get the chance sometime soon, I will start, but I sadly doubt I will get that chance, we have almost no free time.
