kris10 Posted November 21, 2007 Report Share Posted November 21, 2007 Im going to post what I posted on lj for anyone who doesnt go on there and wants to see:) I got to the venue at 3 because I had to go to school for alittle bit before I could leave for the venue. I would've got there later if I would have known that m&g people got to go to the front. Oh well I met some cool people in line so it was ok. Then l went to the meet and greet which was awesome. The only thing that would have made it better was if it was longer but i'm just lucky I got to meet them. They were all really nice and down to earth. We talked to Hayley about our ages and how she would be a freshman in college and how i'm the same age as Zac and how I had to go to school part of this week even though we should be off for thanksgiving. I also talked to Hayley about recording/playing with say anything which was cool. We talked alittle bit with Zac about some former yankee baseball player that was there to watch them. I talked to Josh but it was about random crap haha and I didn't really get to talk with Jeremy that much Hayley's aunt and cousin from New Orleans were also there so she talked with them for a bit aswell. After that we got to go to the front of the line. I was the first one in the entire venue so I got first pick in the pit. The Almost were really good except they didnt play my favorite song (everything that makes me sick) The Starting Line's set took forever. They were ok but got kind of boring. And then of course paramore was awesome. It was definately worth being knocked in the head all night by crowd surfers and being shoved against the barricade for 4 hours (btw now i'm bruised where the barricade stuck into my chest all night hah) Highlights for me would be getting to see my heart performed live, seeing the josh/jeremy flip live haha, watching Zac's amazing drumming...basically everything haha. I had a really awesome time and can't wait until they come back! Guest texasrocker Posted November 22, 2007 Report Share Posted November 22, 2007 ^ thats awesome i got there about 6 and went straight in. i bought my merch first(mistake) and i got the paramore is a band sweatshirt that got really really hot during the show. i worked my way up to like the second row and this one chick was like "there are so many people i dont know way to close to me" so i introduced myself so she knew me then. the people around me were really awesome and we had a blast. i never danced so hard on here we go again. the crowdsurfing was incredible, the only place ive seen it wilder was at warped during the rise against set. i lost my baenie crowdsurfing though so i was a little sad but it was so worth it. i think i bruised a kidney form all the pushing that was going on. but it was all worth it to be like 5 feet away from josh and hayley.
