woo hoo go me! it sounds like a lot of the people that were not liking it at first that it has grown on them, me being one of those people. i was humming "that's what you get" all day today. and the "we want the airwaves back" IS creepy. i wanted it to sound more like when they played it live, not like it was in the background. when she says "baaaack", it kind of reminds me of a ghost.

i first heard of them on the all-american rejects boards from stephanie (stephler). she would always talk about them so i decided to check them out, and i only had 3 dollars on my itunes account so i bought pressure, never let this go, and emergency. and the first song i ever heard in general was pressure i think.

did anyone notice that in one of the songs (i don't remember which one cuz it takes me a while to put names with melodies when i first listen to a cd, ya know?) the background is singing the "woooooah, wooooah" from when they played that extra stuff at the end of my heart on their first headlining tour? i thought it was kinda cool. ok so i gave my review before, but after onyl hearing the sample thing on that myspace. and i am ashamed to admit that i also gave in :-/ after 6 songs, i've definately grown on it and i haven't even listened to the whole thing once. i love when it rains and let the flames begin. i like what they did to hallalujah, but the old one is still my favorite. the 15 second sample thing didn't do the songs justice, but awkif is still my favorite. i'm dissappointed no longer.

surs is on at 7 the sauce at 6 but that's eastern time.

tomorrow is SURS. june 13 they are performing on the sauce.

you took the words right out of my mouth. this album is completely different from awkif. they said that this album was more dark, but to me it sounds like the complete opposite of "dark". it sounds so radio friendly, which can be a good thing, but some of the songs even remind my of kelly clarkson. i still love them to death, but this album is dissappointing AT FIRST LISTEN. i'm sure it will grow on me, but for now it just wasn't what i was expecting from them.
