  1. You should They're a great live band and so down to earth and fun to talk to before/after the shows.
  2. Ok, so here's my post about the show... As I'm walking up to the club, I see Hayley wearing a big red afro wig standing by the van (and by the way - I just feel sorry for the band - they're all packed into this tiny van and Plain White T's, Straylight Run and Simple Plan all have huge buses)...she notices my shirt (I broke the official concert rules and wore my Paramore shirt and says "hey - nice shirt", so I say "nice hair." She comes over and I talked to her for a few minutes - she was telling me all about the show in PA on Halloween and how they all dressed up (and now we've got photos - yay!) I asked her if they would play "Hallelujah" and she said since they only get 5 songs on this tour, they're playing stuff off the album (perfectly understandable...) The show, of course, was great. They played the best version of "Pressure" I've ever heard them play - and they announced that the video's going to be on Fuse next week (so we all have to go vote for it in the Oven Fresh section!) They also played "All We Know", "Here We Go Again", "Whoa" and "My Heart." Too short, but ahh well. I managed to get right up to the front on the barricade for Paramore, so that was cool - Hayley seemed pleased that someone was singing along to every word and both she and Josh pointed me out a couple of times. After their set, I relinquished my spot - I'm too tall to stay up front and anyway, I wanted to go talk to the band. Managed to talk to everyone at one point or another - they set up a table in the lobby with their banner on it and hung out there for a long time between all the sets and after the show. They seemed like they were still having a great time touring, although Jason complained that they're always on tour and don't even have internet access so they have no idea what's going on with anything They were all excited about having the day off today - I believe the plan was to go see Saw II whereever they're staying in VA. They were also joking around about their $40 a night motel that they were staying in after the show. Josh told me he thinks I look like one of his friends. Zac spent a lot of time wearing some really huge heart-shaped sunglasses. And the guys in the band were impressed that I'd seen them 3 times - clearly, they should come by this board - I'm certainly not the only person who's seen them that many times Anyway, it was a great show and a great time. Now for the bad news. I have no decent pictures. The club wouldn't let anyone use anything other than a disposable camera or camera phones while the bands were playing - they were actually going out into the crowd and busting people they saw with digital cameras. I had asked about their policy beforehand and was told "no cameras", so I didn't even bring mine in. And I couldn't leave after Paramore's set to go get my camera out of the car because they wouldn't let you re-enter without paying again. So, that sucks. But, it was still an awesome night. And - random note - Hayley wore her favorite shirt again - the Yesterday's Rising one I should have asked her if that was her favorite shirt... Anyway, that was long and rambling and doesn't really do the night justice, but ahh well...I'm relatively sure I saw nikitask at the show, so I'm sure she'll add more

  4. Heh - those pictures are awesome. According to Hayley, Josh is dressed up like the guitarist in Avenged Sevenfold...or at least that's what she told me at last night's show after I saw here wearing the afro wig
  5. Those are spectacular videos - thanks!!!
  6. Well, this seems to answer the questions about who those other names were...from the guy at FBR who posts on the Paramore LJ... Those songs have two categories 1. Pre-FBR tracks 2. Songs that the band didn't want to put on the album I think you can figure out which ones are which. You all need to stop speculating.
  7. Yeah, it definitely is, but wasn't every song on AWKIF written by Josh and Hayley? So who are the other names?
  8. That could explain it? What are those guys' names?
  9. Yeah, it's cool that they've recorded a bunch of them...but who are the co-writers? That's interesting...did FBR have Hayley work with other songwriters outside of the band?
  10. I don't know. I was hoping someone on here could identify who some of those people are. Obviously, Jason, Hayley, Josh, etc. are in the band, but who are the other names listed? Other songwriters Hayley's worked with? An old band? I'm not sure...
  11. By the way, that's the Hayley who runs paramore.org, not Hayley from Paramore
  12. Hayley posted this in the LJ community and I figured I'd post it here so everyone can see it... My question is - who are Nichols Rogers and Trevisick Nicholas? Also, someone else is reporting in the LJ community that they've recorded at least 10 of these songs (for album #2, perhaps?) and that they're great. hey i found some interesting info on paramore and some songs theyve written but havent released or recorded or w/e on ASCAP.com Adore ( Nichols Rogers, Trevisick Nicholas and Hayley Williams) Always Wrong (Carey Barlowe, Trevisick Nicholas and Hayley Williams) Breathe (Jason Bynum, Trevisick Nicholas and Hayley Williams) Hallelujah (Josh Farro and Hayley Williams) Hannah's Song (Nichols Rogers, Trevisick Nicholas and Hayley Williams) Hello Hello (Nichols Rogers, Trevisick Nicholas and Hayley Williams) Just Like Me (Nichols Rogers, Trevisick Nicholas and Hayley Williams) My Number One (Nichols Rogers, Trevisick Nicholas and Hayley Williams) Oh Star (Taylor York and Hayley Williams) So Exposed (Nichols Rogers, Trevisick Nicholas and Hayley Williams) Stay Away (Jason Bynum, Jeremy Davis, Josh Farro and Hayley Williams) Swim In Silence (Nichols Rogers, Trevisick Nicholas and Hayley Williams) Take Me Back (Josh Farro and Hayley Williams) This Circle (Josh Farro and Hayley Williams) Throwing Punches (Hayley Williams) Don't forget to visit Paramore.org
  13. Yeah, I love 9:30. It's the best place to see a show. I wish they'd moved this show there.
  14. Awesome pics and videos. I can't wait to see them next week!!! Thanks!
  15. I don't think the odds of them playing Hallelujah are that good. They only get 5 songs, they're going to want to play songs that are on the album in order to promote it... But I think I'll ask anyway
  16. Wear a bp vest under your clothes. Safety is key. I'm not sure I have one of those lying around
  17. I'll have to see if I can find them before the show...I don't know that I want to yell it while they're on stage Of course, that's assuming I don't get shot at the Nation in lovely southeast D.C. There's actually a decent chance of that.
  18. Yeah, that's the problem with 4 band shows. They could just cut Simple Plan. I doubt too many people would complain
  19. Huh...just 5 songs? That's a shame. I had hoped for a slightly longer set...something in the 30 minute range. Ahh well...
  20. What songs did they play? What was the setlist? How long did they play for?
  21. Well, it's sort of great. The Nation is in one of the worst parts of DC. Southeast DC is pretty scary. I'm not thrilled that I have to drive down there.
  22. I'd love to have the mp3. The video is great too. Where are they sitting? Out in the parking lot? It looks cold, esp. with Hayley's heavy coat
