  1. Good news. I figured the whole Fefe Dobson thing on the Straylight Run/Victory Records website was just wrong. I'm actually glad the show is at Nation...it's better than Constitution Hall.
  2. Looks like I answered my own question. The show has indeed been moved to the Nation. http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/15003B55E539B5ED?artistid=840419&majorcatid=10001&minorcatid=60 On the plus side, it's a general admission club, not a theatre with seats. On the down side, my one trip there was not fun. It's not in the best part of town and I had to pay someone to "watch my car" so it wouldn't get broken into. Lovely. I wish they'd moved it to the 9:30 Club instead. Now...I just need to confirm that Paramore's still on the bill. I don't know why the Victory Records/Straylight Run page is listing Fefe Dobson on all these dates instead of Paramore.
  3. It's no longer listed on the Constitution Hall website. And tickets are no longer for sale on Ticketmaster. Has it been cancelled?!?! This site shows the show as now taking place at the Nation in DC. That's cool, since it's a club...but I'm worried because this site doesn't show Paramore as opening this date (or a lot of others...) Does anyone have any more info? http://www.victoryrecords.com/StartFrameset.asp
  4. Heh Hayley's wearing that Yes shirt again - she loves that Yesterday's Rising t-shirt
  5. Why are you scared to take a camera? Just check with the venue first to make sure they allow them and you should be cool.
  6. I don't have a video camera that I can take along, but I do plan to take my camera (assuming the venue allows it) and to take tons of pics. Unfortunately, it's a seated show, but I'm in row G (8 rows back from the stage) and I'm hoping I can sneak my way forward for Paramore's set... Whatever I get, I'll post
  7. I'm going to the November 1st date in DC. Is anyone going to an earlier date than that? Whoever goes to the first date should post and update us all on what they play, for how long, whether they still man the merch table after their set, etc. I'm really hoping they'll still be as accessible after their set as they were at the smaller shows I've seen them at *fingers crossed*
  8. on the Simple Plan tour? A date on Nov. 3rd at the Norva in Norfolk, VA (among others) has shown up on Myspace and Pollstar...and I'm wondering if I'm going to get lucky and get a chance to see them headline a show after I see the show with Straylight Run and Simple Plan on Nov. 1st in DC... Anyone know? If you look at Pollstar, you'll see a few dates in between the Simple Plan dates with just Paramore listed...
  9. Done. I was disappointed that Paramore wasn't even listed in the "artist I liked seeing most on Warped '05" section.
  10. She just talked about how homesick they got recording the album in Orlando for two months and how this was a song about home and how it made them feel. It wasn't so much what she said as how she said it. It just made it seem like a very emotional song for them.

    Hi

They do kick ass live. That's what got me hooked on them at DC Warped. Welcome!
  12. Or, you can just buy CDs for people - I bought a copy and sent it to my sister She loves them now, of course.

    Hi

    Is that a challenge?

    Hi

How do you have 161 posts? I feel like I post all the time and I'm not even close to you...
  16. Duh. I think I was in la la land last night when I posted that, since I already knew who you were (re: the signed drum head, etc.) Damn. I'm still way too old for this
  17. Hey - noticed you were from MD - were you at the show at the Recher Theatre? Also, you work with high school students? Are you rivaling me for oldest Paramore fan? I'm 28... Don't feel obligated to answer that if you don't want to I wish I had a good way to promote Paramore...unfortunately, I don't think anyone at my workplace really is into their kind of music...or any kind of decent music for that matter.

    Hi

I love your banner and your necklace icon, but we're already chatting about that in another thread
  20. Thanks for Here We Go Again acoustic too!!!
  21. Along those same lines, does anyone have an mp3 of the acoustic version of Here We Go Again? The link on the the site won't work for me - I keep getting the "nohotlink" file when I try to save it...
