nah man.. no way.. kiddy punk, lol?? have u checked out the lyrics lately.. and have u heard their style?? well they dont even have style really, its so random and crazy.. their earlier shit was basically like 80's punk, but once they hit totalimmortal it was all over.. and megadeth, dave mustaine is a piece of shit compared to hetfield.. and hammett rips him apart as well.. not to mention they had probably the best bassist ever in cliff burton.. oh yea and lars, still havent heard true double bass and drum beats as good as his.. annhialator is alright, but i would much rather listen to trivium or children of bodom.. those two bands tear them apart.. of course i also understand that all music is just people's opinion lol, so i wont take this too far, itd be pointless.. im just saying, afi is definitely not even true punk.. they blend so many different genres together.. and metallica... i mean there aint much else to say.. ive seen em 3 times and every time i almost cried thats how intense they played.. saw em back in the day as well as twice in the last 4 years and they are as strong as ever.. i mean come on a band that rocks hard for 2 and a half hours, are you serious??

haha.. see they arent an angry band tho.. they just so instrumantally sound and the lyrics are absolutely insane.. they will always be my favorite band.. ive been listening to them since i was like 3 lol.. but afi is definitely right up there too.. davey havok is absolutely amazing.. i dont listen to music to get angry.. all music calms me down no matter what the type.. i usually go for rap in the am when i wake up to get me dancing and awake lol and then from there who knows what the hell ill pick.. i like too much..

this band is absolutely nuts.. the break downs they have in there songs is like crazy metal shit.. the guitar riffs and drum is insane.. as long as u can get used to the singing style this band is great.. i was blown away by them the first time i heard them.. very impressive cant wait to see them on warped..

ill be seeing them with hellogoodbye and straylight run on campus invasion in orono maine this coming friday.. im looking forward to it, although it isnt my usually music of interest..
