  1. they're coming to Salt Lake City....aww yeah!! depending on the openers, and how much the show is, i will probably go to that. BAM SHABAM!!!
  2. Angels and Airwaves < Plus 44 < Blink 182 No It Isn't < Lycanthrope
  3. hey thanks!! i wasn't out to make the greatest thing anyone's ever heard. it was just a joke band that i started with my friends that turned into a semi-serious joke solo band...featuring my friends. haha. but yeah...i am starting a new band right now. it will be really electronic like O!O! but it will have electric guitar and all the songs wont be so corny and jokish. how is this for a band name? "HE SAID, SHE SAID" its just an idea...
  4. some songs are on there just to be dorky. here are what people might consider "real" songs... Aww Yeah, Shake It Saw You In A Dream I Can't Be With You (Cranberries cover) Mayday, We're Going Down Is A Lover Redrum Nunga Nunga Every Single Thing Sugar Pie Honey Bunch (Temptations cover) the rest of the songs are what I consider "real" songs, but they are a lot jokier and short. anyways, at least listen to the songs in that list. xo
  5. haha shoot! i should have called the album "Good Morning! Good Morning!" that would have been AMAZING! hahah...oh well...making fun of Hawthorne Heights is funnier.
  6. BOUNCE BOUNCE!! download this stuff. you'll love it.
  7. my solo electronic band Ohio! Ohio! finally finished its debut album '...is for lovers' and you can download the entire cd at http://www.myspace.com/ohioohio in the blog titled "IT'S DONE!" i thought some of you might like it. check it out and let me know what you think.
  8. i love this man. used to despise him. now i love him. i bought his greatest hits cd and also a live dvd. that man is INSANE!! puts on such a rad/messed up show. if he ever comes near utah, i WILL go see him. my band OHIO OHIO is doing an electronic cover of "The Dope Show" zing!
  9. hahaha i am glad you liked my "sounds like" description for Paramore. i need to update that thing more often. huh? yes. ha. i answered my own question!
  10. hahaha i am glad you liked my "sounds like" description for Paramore. i need to update that thing more often. huh? yes. ha. i answered my own question!
  11. i loooove this new album of theirs. its a big load better than their last. "clothes off!" is freakin rad!!
  12. not as catchy as many other WORSE bands...
  13. so i listened to their new album..... i dont like it very much. oh well. just sounds like every other band in the world right now.
  14. LOVE Strung Out. Twisted By Design is one of my favorite albums of all time. Matchbook and Exhumation of Virginia Madison are my faves on that record.
  15. track 7....the name doesn't come to me right now, but that song rules. also, the bass line on track 6 is so catchy and radical. i think there are only two songs on the cd that i dont really care for.
  16. oh yes....good ol' cassette tapes.... Deep Blue Something - Home (i dont think i listened to any song besides Breakfast at Tiffany's...for real...i dont think i ever listened to any of the rest. HA) i also used to listen to my parents' soundtrack for "The Wanderer" a lot...i bought my own copy of the cd a few years ago. it rules...if you like oldies music, like myself. and i think the first single i ever had was Semi Charmed Life by Third Eye Blind.
  17. i feel cute for making this topic....i dont know why i said that. wow im bored. GO SIMS....?
  18. Hanson and Sheryl Crow my mom bought me both of those. she thought i'd like them, and i did. haha. my first "punk"-ish cd though was Mighty Mighty Bosstones. that cd got me into most of the music i like now, however, i dont really love the MMB...oh well. zing.
  19. i've had their album burned for a very long time, but i get so lost in new cds that i download that i dont listen to some as much as i should....so i busted out the ROTY cd the other day and i have been listening to it nonstop. i usually dont like buying cds unless i LOVE the album, so today i bought the hell out of this cd. haha. it's really good, and i am sure a lot of you love it too. and if you havent heard them, you must.
  20. so i dont think i have ever heard this band's music... if i didn't have dial up internet here, i would download something. but i have a few extra dollars, so what do you think? should i go out and buy it and HOPE i will love it? or should i wait until i can listen to something first? here's another question: what bands would you compare them to? (and just a side note, i bought the rookie of the year album today. it's glorious)
  21. and if you buy the album at Target, you get a bonus track
  22. Gym Class Heroes rules. rap with an indie twist on it. lovely.
  23. and if you buy it at any Best Buy, it comes with a DVD with making of the record segments and the video for "hair"...and im pretty sure its on sale for 13.99 when it comes out. amazing. 4 discs for 14 bucks.
