  1. goodbye set your goals. i guess you guys were alright but it's time for the almost to step on board. NOW the lineup i've been waiting for is complete. paramore w/the starting line & the almost. three amazing bands. you really can't beat that. well....maybe you can if it was paramore w/new found glory & jimmy eat world. or paramore w/foo fighters & all time low. but that's beside the point. the almost have officially joined the tour. what do you guys think? are you kinda excited to see them perform too?
  2. well..... 7 more days to go. which seems like an eternity for all us going to this show lol :/
  3. i think i'm pretty clear on paramore's setlist for the tour. but what about the starting line? what's their setlist? and about how long do they actually play? i don't think anyone has even mentioned them yet lol
  4. sometimes i hate when ppl get mad or jealous because they didn't get to hangout with the band or talk and take pics. this is not 2005-06 anymore. this isn't the "all we know is falling/crappy warped tour stage" paramore anymore. this is the "riot/warped tour headliner/mtv status" paramore now. know what i'm saying? they're still the same awesome kids that they've always been/ but their reputation and popularity has skyrocketed now. so we must ALL realize that paramore still loves all of us. no matter what. but they simply just do not have the time to meet everyone in the "family". like i said, they prolly have SUCH a hectic and stressful schedule. which leaves them exhausted at the end of the day. and what i find amazing is the fact that, even though they're constantly doing TONS of press and interviews and performances day-in and day-out, they manage to keep their composure. and still be the fun-loving, friendly, goofy paramore which most of us have grown to love and proudly declare as our favorite band :]
  5. i just have to say..... paramore is probably one of the hardest working bands in the industry today. just think about it. after they spent like 3 months recording "riot", they did a few promo shows and headed straight out to warped tour. soon followed an ongoing flood of interviews, photo shoots, commercials/promos, tv appearances and performances. now they're on big headlining tour in the US. right after THIS tour, they're planning on going out on another tour in europe or the UK. basically, what i'm trying to say is that paramore is a VERY hard-working band. you can't say they're not determined and motivated to do what they do. cause they literally eat, breathe and sleep music. and i mean, i know alot of bands do years on touring and stuff too. but paramore is different. they do it with a passion that you don't normally see in a bunch of those bands. they believe in what they do and they want the world to hear it. and the fans to connect with it. just like the new shirts at the merch table say..... "there paramore where that came from" :]
  6. so san francisco..... how was the show? :]
  7. did paramore do the miz biz & decoy encore performance for you guys too?
  8. oh wow...... but do you think that long trip was well worth the travel?
  9. it was kinda funny when they were like "and here goes the two guitarists. which clearly perfectly their craft from playing guitar hero on playstation." then again, that sounds kinda insulting too. cause josh and jeremy are AMAZING musicians, who i'm sure practiced long and hard to be as good as they are. know what i mean?
  10. haha those pics are pretty cool. it looks like hayley gradually gets more tired and sweaty as you scroll down lol
  11. well that makes two other ppl lol. oh jeez, i hope parking doesn't become a problem. i'm sure it's gonna be pretty tough to find a spot. i heard it gets really hot in the outdoor venue too. so i think i should dress pretty light and comfortable. do you guys think it's gonna be hard to get to the front? cause idk if alot of ppl are gonna be at this tour date.......?
  12. ^^oh wow. you've already seen paramore perform live 7 times!? soon to be 9? you've basically seen them grow up over the years. and how they matured as a band from then to now. they must hold a pretty special place in your heart huh? :]
  13. did they do an encore for you guys or no?
  14. pretty straightforward question. and i thought it would be cool to hear what kind of awesome threads you'll be rockin' when hayley is singing her lungs out in front of you. while you become a big sweaty mess in a pool of screaming fans lol. so what will you be wearing to your tour date? or what did you wear, if you already went? (personally i just bought a new paramore shirt today from hot topic. i gotta make sure i represent my favorite band. fa sho)
  15. so i already heard about the setlist. 15 songs, right? my heart is the last song of the regular set and decoy and misery business are the 2nd part of the encore, right? how come they don't just play all the songs simultaneously then? i haven't been to my tour date yet but i saw some videos. and at the end of "my heart", hayley tells everyone goodnight, so everyone assumes that the show is over and some ppl will start to leave, not knowing there is an encore afterward. why do they do that? are there only encores for the cities that really want them? and scream for them to come back on stage? can someone explain? :/
  16. bahahaha. check out this funny little vid i saw on helio's youtube site. featuring josh as "wayne" and hayley as "garth" from wayne's world. am i seeing a sequel in the making? lol hayley looks pretty cute though. and josh surprisingly looks EXACTLY like wayne lol. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9LlOJsL64Zo
  17. just a few things i've noticed about the band. some little things that prolly aren't a big deal but i just felt like pointing out. you may have noticed these already. and they're pretty obvious to you. or maybe you haven't. and you'll learn something today lol haha. 1) whenever the band performs live, jeremy ALWAYS moves towards zac during the more complex bass parts. so he can get the rhythm in-sync with the drums. which explains the moments when jeremy is leaning over in front of the drums with his back toward the crowd. 2) on stage, each band member usually has a copy of the setlist taped on the ground in front of them. there's one in front of josh, one in front of jeremy's side of the stage, one near zac's drums and one in front of hayley. 3) the band plays in tune with hayley's voice. for example, if hayley had a sore throat or something, all the guitars would be tuned down a step or half a step. so sometimes the songs sound a bit different each time. 4) for each tour, the band usually sticks to one or two "on-stage" outfits. if you notice, they tend to wear the same outfits from city to city. i'm sure they wash them, of course. or they have duplicate outifts. 5) in the misery business video, near the end of the "ive watched my wildest dreams come true......" part, it looks like josh hits hayley in the face with the front of his guitar. and in the crushcrushcrush video, it looks like josh almost whacks jeremy in the head with his guitar at the end lol.
  18. today actually. i talk on the phone prolly almost everyday lol WWTLTY you sang in the shower?
  19. i was just thinking about this today. (since i'm clearly stoked about the austin date i'm going to in like 12 days) i've never been in the front row at a paramore show before. the closest i've gotten is like 6-7 rows behind the front on the right side. and i still got smashed pretty bad up there :/ but i wanna know more about the "front-row" paramore experience. because i'm thinking about if i should try to be in the front when i see them on the 18th. how was your front-row paramore show experience? (if you had one) did you endure any pain or injuries? and was it still well worth it? what advice would you give to someone who hasn't been in the front before?
  20. do you remember back in '05 (i think) when jeremy pulled that disappearing act on paramore? like right around the time they were recording AWKIF. and he left the band for a few months. well who was the bassist that replaced him during that short period of time? nobody ever talks about him. idk if paramore even remembers the guy they got to replace him lol. do you guys know who i'm talking about though?
  21. oh wow. that should be an amazing show. not only for us, but for paramore too. because they get to perform with jimmy eat world and that's one of the bands they really look up to. i bet they're SO stoked about it
  22. november 18th @ stubb's BBQ, austin TX. it's gonna be a night to remember, fellow texas paramaniacs. what better way to serve up paramore than with a large side of authentic texas barbeque at a vintage lone-star live music venue. for everyone that is planning on going to this show, might i highly suggest you first get your fingers a little messy on some classic smoked ribs before the show. and gulp it down with some refreshing iced tea. actually i wouldn't be surprised if paramore decides to get their grub on in typical texan fashion. don't be surprised if you see hayley next to you with her face covered in stubb's famous barbeque sauce lol. so who's going to this show? and if so, where is the outdoor stage at? (cause i don't think i found it when i was at stubb's before) also.....where can i even park???
  23. check this out guys. i found a little segment from "the sauce" where steven gets to go shopping with paramore (which must be an AMAZING experience). pretty funny vid though. especially when the guys lock hayley out of the dressing room lmao http://youtube.com/watch?v=Wbf4XFGXo_8
  24. it's not easy for a band to constantly travel and travel and travel to perform. though the shows may be pretty rewarding and fun to play, i think the band still gets exhausted from time to time having to always be on the go. by any means..... and whatever situation may occur (ex. the reading the leeds close call)..... the band always manages to put on an amazing show for the crowd. but since i'm on the topic of traveling bands, this leads me to my question: do you think paramore flies first class or sits in coach? (totally random. i know. i couldn't really think of another question. btw it would be awesome to meet paramore on a plane cause you'll be able to see them for hours. or maybe even strike up a good conversation)
  25. so it's look like the riot tour has been amazing so far. after the first two opening shows in jersey and utica. it seems the band has taken their live show to a whole new level. but this is just the beginning folks. there's still plenty of more stops left on the tour. and for alot of us, some of those stops are not necessarily as close as we would like them to be. so what i wanna know is..... how far will/did you have to travel for your paramore tour date? and is transportation gonna be an issue for you?
