Well you know what, I have a lot of personal reasons, but I still go to work and college every damn day! It's their job! They can't just cancel half a tour! One gig is a lot different, half a tour is just way outta line! You can't get worse than a family member dying. They should of carried on regardless.

I rather bands than solo artists. Avril is an exception along with Amy Winehouse and Kelly Clarkson. Bands I like are, Paramore (Of course), Good Charlotte, One Republic, Blink 182, Sum 41, Greenday and more..... So what's your point? Edit: How could I forget Black List Club

Avril has NEVER EVER cancelled a show unlike Paramore who cancelled half their friggin' European tour for "Personal" reasons. How proffesional:roll: Avril continued on when her grandfather died. She was in Ireland that night and she came out on stage and she might have cried on a few songs but she fucking came out and tried! I love her for that!

Well it really depends what genre you are talking about. Hayley could never sing a slow song like When You're Gone as good as Avril. But when it comes to the upbeat stuff, Hayley has it down perfect. *Goes to youtube*

Who cares who takes them seriously?! ^^ As long as they make music you like why would you care? Paramore aren't rock anyway, they have rock influence but over all they are pop. What defines proper rock anyway? It's a matter of opinion. I see Paramore as pop but someone else could say, they are rock. Honestly, for them to write an album trying to aim it at a certain categroy of fans would be stupid. Not only would the songs not be natural to them, but they couldn't possibly write a good song. They should just write how they feel at the moment, which I am sure they will, and they will get on great per usual. I don't like System of a Down. I think they are ridicolous. Yet "Proper" rockers as you would say love them. So it's all a matter of opinion!

To respond a suitable post it would have been impossible for me to have not compared them. It's just funny that everyone in this thread brought Avril into this without me even mentioning her.

Its a very universal video. I liked it a lot! I think it will appeal to a lot of people. Video wise it moved in the right direction. I just can't help but feel that this was the wrong single choice. "Born for This" would be HUGE! I don't get why they haven't released it yet! It is crucial that they release that song I think.
