  1. @Lee First of all there is a lot of the names I don't know, so wouldn't be fair to comment on those. I was considereing Bloc Party - Silent Alarm, Klaxons. And Flaming Lips should probably have been on my list. And then I am just sick and tired of Alphabeat, but that is because they have been played to the extreme here, hence that they are danish. They are actually a decent band, but some bands can get annoying when they are on air all the time, if you know what I mean. Oh and Ladytron and Maximo Park (only the first album, since then they have been so-so) are neat as well.
  2. I'm glad you mentioned that, cause I was seriously saying to myself when I listened to Millionaires "what the fuck". That will say I only had to take a look at their very eloquent titles - "I Like Money", "Alcohol", "Take a Shot". But again you never know on this forum
  3. I must say that I'm a bit surprised that you like Britney and Backstreet Boys. I had always thought you we're a die hard rock fan. No offense, just surprised
  4. Yes And i did get your Radiohead comment. They sure are the reviewers top choice.
  5. Wow there's actually others who listens to Bright Eyes and Broken Social Scene. Cool Yeah Radiohead owns, could have taken Hail to the Thief to but I thought two were enough. And BLTC is the shit.

  7. I actually think that it is worse that he has Placebo on it
  8. Funny Games (97, German version) - SEE IT or at least the american version.
  9. Some good choices Andrew. Most of them are good albums.
  10. I haven't listened to it long enough to give it a decent review, BUT the song Playing God sounds exactly like it was a Jimmy Eat World song, especially the chorus. There's also something familiar about the beginning of Where The Lines Overlap. I have heard that melody from another song, or at least something close to it, but can't remember which.
  11. Ok I'm doing one now, just because I can't help myself and in no particular order and for this year. The decade really is a difficult one: Yeah Yeah Yeahs - It's Blitz! The Thermals - Now We Can See The Antlers - Hospice Swan Lake - Enemy Mine Sunset Rubdown - Dragonslayer Phoenix - Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix Mew - No More Stories / Are Told Today / I'm Sorry / They Washed Away / No More Stories / The World Is Grey / I'm Tired / Let's Wash Away Handsome Furs - Face Control Grizzly Bear - Veckatimest
  12. Great thread. I will think for a while. Well Grizzly Bear, Sunset Rubdown and Yeah Yeah Yeahs will be there, but I have to go more into depth as to what has actually been released this year. Especially in regards to the decade. That is a tough one.
  13. Well from the songs I've heard from this band I'm not particular into them either. I just couldn't help to comment on your comment as I only know which bands you don't like and that you like The Wildheart, hence your signature.
  14. ^ I'm actually looking forward to read what you do like
  15. 71 Fragmente einer Chronologie des Zufalls (71 Fragments of a Chronology of Chance)
  16. Is it the vuel skin you are talking about, cause the Blue Star (which I am using) hasn't changed:?
  17. Game Of The Day Fulham vs Arsenal Birmingham vs Bolton Stoke vs Man Utd Blackpool vs Peterborough Reading vs Watford Motherwell vs Hibs East Stirling vs Stranraer Valencia vs Atletico Madrid Sampdoria vs Inter Milan Lokeren vs Charleroi
  18. The Seventh Continent - One of the most disturbing movies I have ever watched.
  19. Survivor - danish version, crazy stuff.
  20. Strange I posted in this read for a while ago, but apparently it's gone now. Well an ok score, just to bad that I didn't play the first two weeks.
  21. Have Newcastle found a permanent coach or are they still confused as to what they want. They are probably going to be sold. That seems to be the only way to make it to the top in Premier League.
  22. So I just saw some of it today, but had turn it off after 15 minutes, since I couldn't stand it. MTV has turned into some kind of glamour show, where it's not about the music but about who is most popular and some guys at the scene trying their best to come up with some jokes (no Pete Wentz you're not funny). But I guess that's the world we live in now. And Kanye is a dickhead.
