  1. I know you've all heard it by now, so how about it? Surprisingly enough, the Bohemian Rhapsody -cover was pretty good, would've been the best out of the ones I cared enough to listen to, if it wasn't for VersaEmerge's version of Paint It Black, which was the highlight for me. Blake's really bland as a singer, but did you hear something new in Sierra's delivery? It was the first time I've heard Sierra belt out some proper overdrive/grit, and I loved it! The music was pretty much like I'd expect VE to sound. Better than the original, I'd say. We Are The Champions? If you have the balls to use pitch correction, I'd at least expect you to hide it... Totally blergh. Crazy Train's been beaten to death in the other thread already. but... I liked some of the stuff they did with the song (turning the F# minor riff into a groovy bass line was a bold thing to do, but I like it!), but, from my perspective, too many wrong decisions. Might sound exactly like FTSK normally does, but that doesn't work for me. The singer's cool, though.
  2. Holy shit, new The Lonely Island -song, and JT's in it!
  3. Major Bumpage! *salutes* YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH I DID YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH
  4. He confess I do this all the time, though. It works well as really offensive humour that makes people disgusted.
  5. This man walked into my life a couple of months ago, and I'm now on season 3. Currently looking at the possibility of importing a 300 inch TV to my living room, AND another one to my bedroom.
  6. I can hardly get nostalgic, one year feels like such a short time...I'm approaching 5-7 years on a few other places, and there the beginning's actually starting to get blurry! Come to think of it, I remember people having parafamilies in their sigs all the way up until someone in the "bring back old PF" thread pointed out that they were useless and suddenly there was a consensus that they were indeed outdated, and so people started dropping them off. :/ I remember this, because...I never had a family... *snif*
  7. Paranoid about what? They are perfectly safe once you get to know them. I guess I could pack up all of my gear (on top of a camel) and start touring the world, but I can't leave the country just yet :/
  8. That's correct, but lots of people have offered to do various kinds of stuff so I assume they have some way of actually doing it as well. Our online band DOES have three recording studios around the world, one in the UK, one in Finland and one in Australia, but you guys have to start shelling out money for plane tickets/camels.
  9. ^^HEAR^^HEAR^^ The best part is that you can never really know if everyone's ignoring the thread, or just forgetting that it exists. I think the two of us should record an entire album before anyone else even gets to post in this thread, just as a slap in the face for the rest.
  10. Alas, that's the defining characteristic of a musician. :/ They just need someone to kick them in the arse for every "slip of mind". >=)
  11. There's always something to make me smile, but to actually crack up and laugh? Depressing as it is, I can't remember too many of those, EXCEPT for one fateful day when first Shannon got me with...I don't even remember what, and then like 10 minutes later Becca posted something and there I went again! We Finns spend our entire lives perfecting our poker face, so that was a major blow. Dunno, I've always felt less detached with one-on-one convos, so those are where the real magic is made.
  12. Some of the Guitar Pro files that are up for grabs have programmed drums in them so it'd just be a matter of exporting those as MIDI into a drum machine, but am I the only one who HASN'T forgotten about this?
