My favorite change is the use of space and horizontal content over blocky boxes trying to be squished in. That was a trend from 5 years ago. It's much less intimidating to have simple, clean, horizontal content across the whole width of the page instead of creating so many columns and rows. I like it a lot. And although I would have preferred a fully responsive layout, the fact that it is semi-responsive is also good (meaning you can increase or decrease the width of your browser and the website will adjust without loading a whole new part of the site).

What do you guys think of the new Paramore website? http://www.paramore.net/?frontpage=true I think it's a much needed makeover and looks great. Very modern and edgy all at the same time. Bonus: JT Daly did the handwritten font. Maybe I'm biased, but that makes the website even cooler to be branded with his art. Not to mention all of the promotional material he helped with as well.

Thank you for that email address! I shall email it right away. As for Whoa, I had the same reaction to Whoa. Still feel the same about it. I can see why everyone else likes it, but it's not as high ranking as other songs, to me, for the same reason as the chorus in "Now".

Thoughts: -A bit worried by the background vocal sounds of "now" in the chorus. Not that it's bad. I just would have preferred hearing Hayley say it in the foreground as well. But I'm just nitpicking at this point. -Also a little worried about the lyrics for this album. I've always loved Paramore lyrics, but nothing really jumped out at me with this song (shoot me). -Overall I love the song. The bass is awesome, and drums are awesome. -It's a good addition to their catalog. It gives off a No Doubt vibe in the verses and I like that. It's just further rounding the band out more and showing how diverse they can be. I love that. -Unsure about the album artwork. I like seeing artwork more so than a photo on the music I buy, but it's not like it doens't make sense. Paramore has never been on their album covers so I think I'm just not used to it. I think FBR definitely wants the band to be seen so people can put a face to the music (besides just hair color). It also makes it easier for new fans to recognize the album. So on a marketing front, it totally makes sense. -Not a fan of Hayley's baby bangs. There. I said it. Again, shoot me. Also think that there's not enough room for 2 grizzly beards in the band. Pretty sure Jeremy held that title first, Taylor. Or groom it or something. -17 songs will be amazing. Really looking forward to the interludes -As much as I like that they are writing positive songs, I'll admit I get more easily drawn to an album on the melancholy songs. So hopefully this won't be a tough sell for me. -Pre-ordered the album plus vinyl combo, but did not check the box to get put in the contest for all the amazing prizes. About to cry big man tears :(

I'm glad they are speaking out about the process. It's always reassuring when we get new info from them. Excited for the new album, no matter how long it takes. I prefer that they take their time and not force creativity. Optimistic for the future

A few weeks ago, we set out on an experiment to give back to those in need instead of spending our money on gifts for Paramore. We reached out to Paramore fan websites all over the world in hopes of donating money to Toys for Tots, a charity that provides toys for children who would otherwise not receive any gifts for the holidays. I'm very pleased to announce that we raised $321.66! We also gave a holiday card to Paramore, thanks to Chriss, signed by everyone who donated (as well as websites who donated), with a little note, and some holiday wishes. The band recently received our card and Hayley posted photos of what they received. Check out the pictures below. Thanks again to everyone who could make this possible. We certainly see this as a really awesome way to get all fans of Paramore together for a good cause. It makes our family even closer, and most importantly, gives toys to those who would otherwise never have the same experiences we are so fortunate to have. We definitely see this as an annual event that will only get better year after year. Hope everyone enjoyed the holiday season. We surely started off 2012 on the right foot!

I never bothered to look, but it's a possibility. The whole idea of comments is only still around because of the MySpace trend that has been dead for a while now. The improved way of "commenting on a profile" is just sending someone a message, since people can't reply to comments. So unless people really have something to say in a one-way conversation, comments are a thing of the past. Just send a PM. PMs are threaded, and anyone can be added to a private conversation.

You *might* have noticed a few things changed around here. Well, to be honest, you're correct! We recently updated the forum software and gave the forum a fresh coat of paint. We are calling this "phase 1" of a 2 phase process. We are in the middle of updating the look and feel of the whole website, so expect the main website to get a matching new look and some added functionality in the near future.
