Addie
Well, MCR pulled it off. It's possible... but dangerous. Hah.
Catie
i honestly cant see that happening. i'm not trying to be a downer but the last time i saw paramore play a small show was in 07 and even that sold out quickly. they are so popular now its ridiculous. i know they'd love to do it but when they can sell out bigger places, i dont think their label/manager or whoever, will want them to "take a step back" its unfortunate but i agree

Ross
smaller venues = more dates and venues. Not necessarily.
BABsxo.
Not necessarily. i think with paramore it would. any small 'small venue' tour ive known of have worked that way.
Ross
If it's a "small 'small venue' tour" then surely it goes against that by playing several venues more than once? Cause then it wouldn't be that small.

Cause then it wouldn't be that small. thats not what im getting at - i dont mean they would play more than one night at a certain venue. what i was thinking, in UK terms anyway, is that theyd reach out across the country kinda thing. like up here, theyd play somewhere in, say glasgow, edinburgh and dundee. hypothetically. Ross
If they were playing the UK, I doubt they'd take a trip to Dundee. I wouldn't even play in Dundee. If it was a small venue tour here I still think they'd stick to the big cities. Brum, London, Manchester etc.
BABsxo.
give a shit, i just want them to play the barras at the end of the day.
Ross
And now we come to the crux of the matter. Can't wait to see Brand New there in June.

Ross
I know like 3 people with spares though so if you ever change your mind, hopefully they'll still have them.

GerBertMcWay
Is that how much tickets are? And as for the small venues, I'm sure they could pull it off. They could do what UnderOATH did for Atlanta and play at the masquerade for two nights, because they played inside and it was kinda small. Personally, I prefer small venues to the larger ones. play two shows doesn't help. it's usually just the same people going to both shows, and the same people that aren't able to get tickets to either show. captain.obvious
Maybe if they did an acoustic winter tour, that would def be smaller venues.
The Drummer
SO they said in the official press release that they would be playing at smaller clubs.. you think this is it? I hope so. But I'm also worried that I won't be able to go to any shows because of marching band
