Ross
I've seen Kris Roe of the Ataris on his solo acoustic tour in a 200 capacity venue. And I've seen local people in smaller ones. I think were was like no more than 100 people at VersaEmerge haha.
hubabalou
NIIIICE! Now that I think about it, the venue that I saw VE at was I think 250. It was VE, There For Tomorrow, The Cab, The Maine and We The Kings. Good times. Very good times.
Ross
Mines was Versa, Lights, In This Moment and Whole Wheat Bread. In the same place I'm seeing Jack's. Except this was no where NEAR selling out. 100 people at best, literally about 20 by the last band.
hubabalou
Wow, thats cool. I saw The Summer Set, Artist Vs Poet, The Friday Night Boys, The Morning Light and Sing It Loud in a 500 max venue but only about 50 people showed up because it was on a school night. It was epic. Ross
Hahah, this was during a holiday. It was kinda a shame there wasn't a lot of people there.
hubabalou
Yeah, I hate it when there arent big crowds because the band is totally flat without crowd feedback, at least thats how it is most of the time. I admit, the bands were totally digging the 50 person show. They were having so much fun just like, laughing and asking us questions. Depends on when Paramore is coming to Europe though, and if they're coming to Norway. I hope they come early next year, so I can see JM. haha
No_Sir!
Aw I hope that works out!
Ross
Not to be 'that guy' Guro but if you're considering coming over for Jack's, you should probably make the decision sooner rather than later.
Guro
Hehe, I know. I might order tickets and stuff later tonight. But it would be very good to know if Paramore is coming to Europe at almost the same time. But they would most likely start touring after the cd's out right? and after they've toured in the US? hubabalou
Just the thought of having to take a plane to a gig shows major dedication if you ask me. hahaha
Shine Brighter
Woo! Have fun Guro! I might go to the 8/1 show. I'm still trying to harass my mom. She said we can chill at the back of the venue since we can hear everything, but I'm like "If we're gonna drive there, why dont we just buy the tickets?!". I'd for sure be able to go if it wasnt for No Doubt the weekend before.
hubabalou
Awww... don't you hate it when parents wont let you go to more than one show in a short period of time? It totally sucks.
Ross
I, thankfully, no longer have that problem. Well I never had that problem cause it's my money so they couldn't stop me.
hubabalou
Hahahaha, I don't have that problem much anymore. My dad is avidly against me seeing Cobra Starship though. Which is a shame.

Shine Brighter
Awww... don't you hate it when parents wont let you go to more than one show in a short period of time? It totally sucks. YES. I even said I'd pay for it. You know what also sucks? Being 14 and not being able to drive yourself. That sucks pretty hard too.
Ross
I would drive you to the show but that's probably no consolation considering I'm on another continent.
hubabalou
Does he have a beef with them? No.... but I've spent a mess of money on tickets this past month or so, and its a few days after Jonas Brothers and he was like.... "Cant you just leave your summer concerts and that? Honestly, just leave it at that please."
Shine Brighter
I would drive you to the show but that's probably no consolation considering I'm on another continent. Yeah, that probably won't go too well. Thank you though!
