I know it's going to sell out, but how soon? I'm still working on getting a ride so I don't want to buy tickets before I know for sure I'm going, but I also don't want to wait too long and have it sell out before I get them.

Obviously. But I don't see why you should have to pay to be in a fan club to go to a meet and greet. So if I don't want to be in the fan club, which I most likey don't just because I dislike fan clubs and they usually aren't worth it, I still have to pay to be in it if I want to go to the meet and greet.
