Why are we having this conversation? Hayley wins. There's no doubt of that. Her vocals are much more impressive and can take your breathe away. Avril doesn't have the powerful voice she never did. As for lyrics. Sure, Paramore doesn't have the best lyrics, but neither does Avril. I'd say they're tied in this department, but then Avril's new album came out. And God have mercy on our souls. I mean, it's like she got married and got all the rock fucked right out of her. Avril isn't worth anything post-marriage. Now, you say Avril's better coz she can play and sing at the same time? Anyone can play and sing at the same time especially with the chords of Avril's songs. I'm sure Hayley could do it, not to mention better.

This isn't my favorite of all time, it's my second favorite. My first favorite is a song in filipino. I feel so hated on this thread. haha. I think people just fall in love because everyone else is doing it. I mean, so many people are looking for love because they want to feel that feeling that movies and our friends tell us about. But isn't love just supposed to hit you. Love wasn't meant to be sought out because all that does is help you find the wrong person before you find the right one. That's what I think. It doesn't apply to many of the stories on this thread, so I guess I'm just wasting my time saying this.

Okay, here's what happened. My friends and I had a gig last saturday, and we were all excited for it. But then we performed and I dunno what happened. Whatever it was, I know I fucked up. Bad. Me. Not them. Just me. I don't know what to do. I can't even face my friends anymore. I'm spending my lunchtime alone these days. I know it will blow over eventually, but how do I stop feeling this complete sense of failure?

Wow, I'm quite surprised a lot of you have tried to commit suicide. I was there once too. You know, it's funny. I kept using the phrase in my sig, "I'm not gothic; I'm just morbid" and the entire time I was gothic and emo. But those times were just so depressing and you have the feeling of being alone. I asked my friends if they would miss me if I ever killed myself. They all said, "Yeah sure" At the time, that really hit me hard because I thought no one cared. But they were all just trying to prevent me from actually doing it. I know it's a weird way to prevent someone from committing suicide, but they knew me well, and they knew that those were the words I needed. I didn't need anyone nurturing my depressed state. Those idiots saved my life. I still say the phrase these days because I am, in some ways, still that person I was in those times, but now, it's more of a reminder of that dark time in my life. It's sad whenever I hear about someone killing themselves. Because if I could find the light, then so can they, and yet, they didn't.
