thebrowncoat
There's a thread on this: http://paramorefans.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=1314 Absolutepunk.net posts the Soundscan numbers just about every week. Paramore's been selling about 700-800 copies a week and, from what I remember, the last time they posted the numbers, their total # of albums sold was over 33,000. That's pretty good, considering I read somewhere that 90% of all albums released sell 10,000 copies or less.

Yeah, it's definitely not bad considering it's totally based on touring at this point. It's not like they're getting video airplay on MTV or radio airplay. I'm betting the band would be quite ok with appearing on Much Music or MTV, even if you guys don't like the idea. Wouldn't it be nice to see Paramore have the big fanbase they deserve? That's true, I didn't think about that it's JUST from touring. I saw a lot of people buy the CD at the show last night actually..so that does make sense. If bands change after appearing on MTV, that's their decision.
