captain.obvious
I only have an Xbox 360, so thats what I reserved it for. I'm pumped lol
Wildman
Yeah. That game looks beautiful. I need to get my Xbox fixed before I get it, though.
Scott!
Luckily my Xbox hasen't died yet. Chances are it will soon.
captain.obvious
Yeah, those damn 360s haha. As much as I absolutely love xbox 360, the first few years of them were really just put together cheaply. I got mine from day 1 at launch, luckily when it broke it was under warranty, the one I have now *knock one wood* works great still

I still have the first series Xbox, it lasted me 4 good years. I've taken good care of my Xbox too, I guess it was at it's time though. I just wish I was under warranty still, but I got a few contacts that can fix it, but I'm low on the $ that people are asking for.
captain.obvious
Yeah, you could probably sell it on eBay to somebody who wants to fix it themselves, make a little profit from it, and then put that towards getting the like $200 xbox, idk. I would hate to have to buy another one but I think I would if mine was broken and not covered by warranty.

But I still think that it'll be cheaper if I had someone fix it for me.

Wildman
I want a Gibson SG more than anything.
Scott!
I've played my brother's SG and also one of the Epiphone versions and to me there are only slight differences. Definitely prefer the Gibson over the Epi.

Scott!
Gibsons have a more vintage feel, and I'm always a fan of vintage guitars/tone! I like older Marshall amps and dislike Line 6 for all it's digital baloney.
captain.obvious
lol "baloney" Digital amps are great for practicing though, I use a fender G-Dec with my les paul when i practice
Scott!
They work well in small amps that can't reproduce the sound of half stacks, but I just don't really see the need for digital anything in a half stack. I liked digital better when they were only in small, convenient pedals.
captain.obvious
thats what the g-dec is, its a little 15 watt practice amp. its fantastic for what it is, but yes, when I feel like rocking out for serious thats what my 480 watt half stack is for
Scott!
I'd love to just crank a Marshall tube amp to full one of these days. Granted, I'd need to have enough space so I don't go deaf, but I imagine total bliss.
captain.obvious
I usually play outside if I use the half stack, otherwise its in the basement of my parents house. I can only take it up to about 20% volume inside though without it shaking the house too much.
Scott!
480 watts is one heck of an amp! How many cabs would the amp be able to power?
captain.obvious
Um, I'm not really sure. I know it can easily hook up to a full stack, prob a couple but honestly I've never tried. I bought it off my friend as a half stack because he played jazz guitar and thats a rock-centric amp and he had no use for it. I haven't really changed it since I got it. I went through an acoustic phase where I never touched it for over a year as well. And now I live in an apartment and only use my practice amp. Scott!
Have you ever noticed that sometimes Josh and Taylor each use 2 amps, but with only 1 cab each?
captain.obvious
Yeah, I think they both use a marshall and an orange amp. Why not, if you've got the money. I would love an orange set up, they're so delicate. You need to let them warm up before playing and cool down after, I love it. They're like F1 cars.
