That looks cool, what font did you use for This Is Not A Chick Band? Yeah, I wish I could have only one line of navigation. I made my site navigation, the issue is that IPB throws in the boards navigation too, like you see with the two lines at the top of this forum. It looks better here since it has the whole width of the forum to work with and is not fixed to 1000px wide for the layout. Not to mention the fact that the color changes. I'm still trying to figure out how to make it look good, and if the IP Board navidation can even be replaced with images, as in the template I only see a call for the nav and the css settings change all of the links at once. Definitely not a forum for me. Good luck with moderating it though, and don't forget to come on Pf ! Not a fan of the band? It is not a web safe font, and there are places I can't uses images. So I tired something brand new. The site will use the WOFF font format created by firefox and introduced in firefox 3.6. Internet explorer 9, and new versions of Safari and Chrome will support it too? Ok, you might be wondering, why in the world do that if only firefox 3.6 will support it at this moment. Well, I can do things the old way. IE has support for a EOT font, and safari for a special format of the TTF font. I can make these browsers use this until the WOFF format is supported. Just wondering if everyone here could do be a quick favor. Can you go to http://www.thisisnotachickband.net/fonts/demo.html and let me know if the Dirty Ego font displays correctly for you? But with proper letter spacing, and getting it in the right spot. And maybe adding a css drop shadow to the font it will look really good. Will play with it tomorrow, perhaps late tonight. Because apparently members are allowed to post, reply, read, upload and download from that board but not the show forum permission wasn't checked There were a few other boards for bands too that I didn't even know catie or pauline added that had no permissions set, so I couldn't even see them when logged in, I fixed them too. So, I'm looking for anyone who would like to join the site staff and help out. I am looking for people who would like to do one or both of the fallowing. News Editor (Either write your own articles from the gossop you hear about the bands and post them or news you hear. Or be a news reposter, if you see an article posted to mtv or buznet, or absolute punk or something that is relevent for a band, post the article and a link to the full artcile.) I am hoping to get a few people on this so diffrent opinions can be heard, plus we all know every one is busy and can't write articles weekly, so if there are a few of us doing it there should be a steady flow of articles for visitors. When logged in to the tour dates page you should be able to edit the article, or add a new one and delete the old one.
