hubabalou
Its pretty much perfect for me except there's no Keep It Simple. Thats my favorite.
Ross
Pretty much identical to when I seen them in May. Hope they play Pleasure Ryland the same way for y'all. That was sweet.
hubabalou
How'd they do it?
Ross
Basically they all go off and Ryland comes back on. He starts having some banter with the crowd then makes the song's loops right in front. It's really pretty cool. The rest of the band come in later to finish it off. It's a lot better than I made it sound haha
hubabalou
I see. That sounds quite interesting.

Ross
Finally sitting down to listen to this album. Anyone with it physically (Megan?) is there any chance you could look in the liner notes and see who the female gang vocals are? It sounds almost like the Millionaires. Ross
Good stuff, thanks! What do you make of the album?
hubabalou
I like it.... its not as good as their other stuff... but its not bad. Some of the songs are really cheesy, but I was expecting that. Sort of repetitive though.
Ross
It's very repetitive in regards to lyrical concept. Quater good, quater bad, half average.
hubabalou
Basically. Nice way of putting it.
Ross
The bonus tracks are pretty irritating too. Five b-sides - fucking bring it on! Oh wait, three of them are Good Girls Go Bad remixes. Oh.
hubabalou
I KNOW! What is that?!?!
tiaisradder
I haven't even listened to the remixes yet. I always skip past them to the beginning. :l

Komomaan
I don't know why Cobra Starship keeps getting these additional (lame) female vocalists when they have someone like Victoria.
hubabalou
^ I wonder about that too. It really makes no sense at all.
Komomaan
She owns like everyone of them.
hubabalou
So, Cobra launched their official fanclub with the release of Hot Mess. If you actually go out and buy the physical copy of the album or get it from iTunes you get a free year membership. If you don't feel like buying the album its only $10 for a year membership. Pretty good deal if you ask me considering most fanclubs are $25 or more. Fanclub comes with all the normal fanclub perks. Early ticket sales, meet and greet opportunities, contests, fanclub only message boards, etc.
