hubabalou
I really like the lighting in that picture you posted Ania. Some more film stuff from my photo 1 class. Please try and ignore the dust spots. These are just first prints and I havent gotten back to cleaning my film to reprint them. (I hate this picture, but my teacher really liked it.... I think I look ridiculous)
kwik-silva
They're cool And you don't look ridiculous
hubabalou
Well thank you Matt. I'm pretty sure I look ridiculous though. I'm gonna try and redo the picture wearing something different in a different environment because the picture really bores me. lol. I just need to explore the concept more. xmurderxlovex
Sorry if it's small, I resized it way too much on photobucket and I'm too lazy to upload it again. This is Haley, the Parababy! I suggested the name Hayley, and my sister decided it was the perfect name, but she changed the lettering around because she thought Hayley was a little too weird. She was born on Valentine's Day! My sister didn't realize til about two weeks ago that I suggested Haley because of Paramore. Haha.
The Drummer
does anybody know if it's illegal/legal for me to sell prints of bands? (that i took) I'm pretty sure i can't because of copyrights? but can anybody confirm this?
kwik-silva
I think that you can.. unless you've signed some kinda contract that says you can't :/ but I could be wrong.
hubabalou
I dont think you can Jedd. I think I read in my music business book that'd you'd have to get their permission because their image is copyrighted.

hubabalou
Shit. Faith, those are incredible. And dust spots rule. Haha. Thank you Kailey! I love working with film. If I could have my way it would be the medium I use, its just so expensive. I agree about dust spots. I think they give photos character. But points are taken off for my class if our prints have dust or watermarks. lol
waketheearth
No problem! What film camera do you use? I have a Canon AE-1, but I have no idea how to use it. Hahaha. That's ridiculous. They do give character, which...is pretty much what photography is all about...
hubabalou
I know right?! Give me dust or give me death. lol I have a Canon Rebel 2000. Its a beaut. I love it. You could probably google the manual. Most camera manuals are online.
Jorgi
It kinda depends, my friend's doing commercial photography everything has to be so crisp it's ridiculous... whereas another's doing arts photography and it literally can be a scrunched up negative and they'll get brownie points it's mad, what course are you doing faith ?
hubabalou
Photography I.... since its about basics and whatnot everything has to be clean and crisp. I think the later photography courses like II, III, and IV you can be a little bit more artistic with your prints.
