I wish people would stop labeling bands as pop punk or emo. It's just music. You either like it or you dont. There's no reason for band bashing. As some of you may have read in one of my previous posts, I reviewed Paramore on my website in a section called "The weekly album review." I didn't recieve any rude comments in my forum. But, I guess these assholes decided to take their hate elsewhere. It's pretty sad when you're browsing through random forums and come across people bashing you, your website, and the bands you enjoy listening to. I couldn't believe some of the things I read. I don't mean to sound like an immature emotional guy. But, it hurt, you know. Complaing about things like this is obviously no solution to the problem. "Genres" is just like a city map for tourist. It helps categorize music for people in stores. Now it has become a bigger part of music, but before genres music went on just fine.
