The Drummer
Absolutely insane! I was like... soooo caught up in the music last night its insane. He went completely off the set list he's been doing for most of the tour though. I was okay with it, he only didn't play two songs I was hoping he'd play. He didn't play Holiday For Real, but he played Into The Airwaves and MFEO.. so it's all good
hubabalou
^ Oh, he played Holiday From Real at my show. He didnt play Rescued or Annie and I was bummed. But Hammers and Strings and Me and the Moon made up for it.

No_Sir!
last nights show was amazing! New respect. He actually sounds better than the cd.
hubabalou
^ Didn't I tell you thats how JM is? I'm pretty sure I've told you that before.
No_Sir!
Well, now I can believe you. Even though this was my second time to see him. It's amazing what listening to the cd 500 times in your sister's car will do for you.
hubabalou
Hahahaha. Its true. When you've listen to a band a lot you tend to appreciate them live a lot more.
No_Sir!
the only back fall of last night was that it was not a grand. I guess it got too hard to tour with it. That was sad.
hubabalou
Really? Thats surprising. He had his grand when I saw them... and that was a much smaller tour. Thats strange.
No_Sir!
and the guy from the fray didn't have one either. Not that it really made a difference.
hubabalou
That honestly surprises me. Maybe Andrew broke his again. Its quite possible. He tends to break legs on his pianos quite often.
No_Sir!
hahaha. I don't doubt that. Well I guess this way they don't have to put it in the case and all that. It was just on the side of the stage the entire night before he came out. Makes sense.
Ross
Really? Thats surprising. He had his grand when I saw them... and that was a much smaller tour. Thats strange. Maybe that's why? It's probably not easy to lug a grand about on a tour of this magnitude. Or maybe he doesn't want to risk breaking another?
No_Sir!
^yeah that's what I was thinking. I mean it took like 10 minutes to load up and stuff. And then they had to get another one out for the fray.
hubabalou
Eh, I dunno. Its possible. Either way, its a shame you didn't see him on his grand.
No_Sir!
at least I saw it once. It's the memories.
hubabalou
Yeah, I know. You still have to see him in a small club, thats the epitome of Jack's Mannequin show.
Ross
350 capacity for me in August.
hubabalou
NIIIICE! I think the smallest venue I've seen them in is 750. I'm not sure though. It was a great show. I'm hoping to see Cobra Starship in a 300 capacity venue in August. That'd be fun. haha
Ross
I've seen Cobra in a 600 cap twice (one of them got upgraded from 300, well truth be told they rescheduled after cancelling it to a bigger venue) and like 12000 capacity arena haha. Cobra would be sick in a small venue
hubabalou
I know. Thats why I'm hoping I'll get to go. I'd die. It'd be such an amazing show.
Ross
I got to see Forever the Sickest Kids in that venue to make up for Cobra cancelling cause FTSK were supporting. I think the venue's actually only 250.
hubabalou
Wow. Thats impressive. I think the smallest venue I've been to is like, 100 max, and it was this guy named Jimmy Robbins and only like, 20 people showed up. It was fun. And then there's the venue I help run out of my church which is 350 max, but we only have local acts come through. Nothing spectacular.
