hayleh
i've actually tried about 3 different webcams on this piece of junk and nothing works. i think computers AND cameras infact.. just love to take the piss right out of me. it's really quite a buzz. Retsu
i would like to try it out eventually, but the security (or lack thereof) bugs me. plus i'm perfectly content with my linux.
nemesis90
it is possible to downgrade the vista to XP but i duno how and if its legal :/ sorry
Retsu
of course you can downgrade... it's just a matter of replacing vista with the XP software. how you obtain that software is where legal-ness comes in.
hayleh
yeah, i prolly could do that, but it would also be confusing and cost money. i've already spent enough. i just wish my hardware would work. all the drivers for like.. everything are behind and don't work with vista. i suppose it's not really vista that's the problem. it's just everything else that isn't suitable for it. vista itself does look pretty cool. Retsu
I'm sure your hardware will have Vista drivers once it becomes more standard. I'd say wait it out if you can.
hayleh
it was weird.. it was my wee camera. it worked right? but it would freeze after being on for like five minutes and crash my computer. i took that thing back and got a different one, and the new one.. well.. my computer doesn't even detect it when it's plugged in. it's really driving me WILD. Kacky
I wouldn't get Vista until about a year after it's released, because not a lot of software is compatible with it yet.
crashedROCKSTAR
My brother's computer has Vista. But they don't really do anything but AIM/internet and either have I on it so it doesn't seem crazy to me yet ahha.
LikeDays
My mom's got Vista on her new computer.. The only thing I like about it is the window scrolly deal and the sounds... Other than that, I find it kind of useless... I get confused when I'm just trying to SAVE something... And I always forget how to turn it off, beacuse there's not just a button for it like there is in XP... I also heard that Vista isn't compatable with iTunes... Unless they've found a patch for that?...
SuperJess
I've heard nothing good about Vista.
