(4/2/08) dearest friends. sorry if we’ve been distant lately. i know at least i have been kind of side tracked. so scatterbrained these days. kind of ridic. but still no excuse. hopefully we are still friends? do i need to send anyone apology flowers to make up? how about a nice dinner? ice cream? anyone have a birthday in april? want a birthday card? candy? a good snuggle? a hug? high five? GROPEY MICHIGAN? anything? i’m willing to make it up to you. let me know if there’s anything i can do to win back your love. i miss you. well i suppose now’s just as good of a time as any for an update. we are working on the finishing touches of our second EP and will soon be getting going on the full length. it’s been suuuuuuuper busy, but i am so delighted to finally get started that i donnnn’t really care. we played a show with BEACH HOUSE and PAPERCUTS last week. probably one of the best experiences of my young life. i wish every show could be like that. thank you to anyone who came up and talked to us or bought an EP or took part in that show in anyway. and thank you times 32938829 to beach house and papercuts for making us feel worthy of their presence. haha. i honestly couldn’t have imagined a better time. did any of you go to that? did anyone witness how incredible those bands are live? oh pitter patter. i thought my little heart might burst. into a thousand frollicking pieces no less. okay. i’m done gushing. (kind of.) oh my gosh. we have a show with the loves of my life I, Colossus soon. April 12th to be exact. in Eau Claire at the Nucleus. it will complete my life. i love that band so much. some of the best people you will ever be lucky enough to meet. i want to stick them in a little box and wrap them with pretty paper and a precious little bow and hand them as a present to all of you. that is how much i love them. did you know that it’s 8:26am and i haven’t slept yet. what in the world. prtty pls don’t judge me. i need to start a club for insomniacs. anyone want to join? we could make club bracelets? i dunno dude. is it seriously april already? what the? i still can’t believe it’s not summer anymore. with the birth of april comes the death of our reign as band of the month at http://www.paramorefans.com. oh it is a sad, sad day when that ends.but i guess april brings us one month closer to summer. and summer will allow us to wander from state to state and tour our little butts off. and tour only will bring us closer to you. much closer. disgustingly close. so hopefully you guys aren’t big on personal space. i’m currently taking a break from cleaning my basement. it is seriously freezing. i might need mittens. so not a joke. i will leave you with few images of what our lives have consisted of the past week or so. i’m pretty sure that’s about all i’ve got for the moment. a mini-update should be up in a little bit. i’ll bug you about it when it’s finished uploading. hopefully everyone’s wednesday is off to an excellent start. sorry again for the lack of communication. i’m ready to commit this time. i love your freaking guts. loveforevs, cacie :D Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
