  1. Anyone know where this is from and whether or not i can nab a high quality of it somewhere? A friend of mine wants to paint it but print resolution is so small. Thanks guys!
  2. You can't remaster something that wasn't mastered in the first place. "Re" means done over.
  3. It's not a real album. And there are better quality copies of those songs out there. Whoever threw it together did a half-assed job. They also put tracks on there that aren't b-sides. (The Summer Tic EP)
  4. http://www.mediafire.com/?mnycamykw2t - crushx3 vocals over the Vitamin String Quartet's arrangement.
  5. Lee, these kids use this awful plugin that just deletes frequencies and such, and so no you can never actually just get rid of the voice. You'll always lose music with it and it always sounds like garbage. Better wait for a Paramore karaoke CD.
  6. Yeah I've been a lurker on here, I just post when I feel I really need to. Hah.
  7. Lee! I didn't know you were in here. Small world wide web.
  8. You guys should check out the Kate Voegele cover. Amazing.
  9. Yeah I would've but didn't for two reasons. One is because I wanted to start with the best possible quality, and if it had already been pitch shifted, that already takes away that option. The second reason is because I also decided to make a bunch of changes you didn't. I sped up the Avril instrumental so the tracks met somewhere in the middle instead of one extreme or the other which both sound ridiculous. I also made some aesthetic changes to the vocal line, so it wasn't just ripped from MisBis and then slapped on another track. You came up with a brilliant idea, I just decided to take it one step further.
  10. Yeah. When mashing Paramore with anything, hayley's voice should ALWAYS get favored.
  11. I took the idea the other guy on here had and made it my way. http://www.mediafire.com/?j3b12yjv9yc# Let me know what you think.
  12. Try this version instead. It's killer. http://www.mediafire.com/?j3b12yjv9yc#
  13. That would be a CD single with no bonus tracks at all.
  14. Vinyl isn't Mono. Doing that makes you lose a good chunk of the music. An entire guitar. Half of the overheads of the drum sound. Best to let people who know what they're doing rip vinyl. That being said. The record is on the way to my house and I have one of those USB turntables. I won't post it on this board, but hopefully I can accommodate everyone in one way or another.
  15. I got it from Hot Topic, but it doesn't say anything about this anywhere. Please elaborate.
  16. According to my Last.fm page: Born For This - 68 Misery Business - 46 For a Pessimist - 35 and the rest of the album - 27
  17. Three iTunes bonus tracks for UK fans.
  18. Yeah, most of the exclusives won't come from online orders (With the couple exceptions where the bonus is ONLY for online orders/pre-orders). Although on the Best Buy site it does say "Best Buy Exclusive" on the left there under "On Sale" so maybe that's still the version with the bonus tracks. But I'd never trust it.
  19. You have to get the version that says it's an import from the UK.
  20. You can get it on our Amazon.com for under $10. If you order anything else from there to total over 25 bucks shipping is free.
  21. Actually The UK single has 4 tracks: 1. Misery Business 2. Stop This Song (Love Sick Melody) 3. My Hero (Electronic Remix) 4. Sunday, Bloody, Sunday (u2 cover) The Used released 6 actual b-sides (tracks that didn't make the album) with their latest. Paramore only has 2 non-album tracks, a demo, an acoustic version and 2 live versions. I wish more bands did it like The Used.
  22. I couldn't find anything on this yet, but I'll keep looking. Not everyone here understands that there are only 4 major labels now. Paramore is on Atlantic which is under Warner Brothers. Also, Warner has been trying to aquire EMI. Here's a recap: Smartpunk - Free Pins Play.com - Free Stickers iTunes - Misery Business (Acoustic) Best Buy - Rewind (demo) and unknown live track Hot Topic - Decoy (plus a $20 shirt and album deal, correct?) Wal-Mart - Exclusive ringtone(s) HMV (UK) - Limited Edition Slip Cover Others: Misery Business UK CD Single - Stop This Song (Love Sick Melody), My Hero (Electronic Remix) and Sunday, Bloody, Sunday (u2 cover) - Listed on Amazon UK to come out June 18th. There are 2 US versions of the single, One on CD with the u2 track and a 7" with the My Hero remix. Riot! MVI (Music Video Interactive Disc - this is a pretty new format with superior audio quality that can only be played on DVD players) w/ a Bonus CD (no idea what's on it), listed on Amazon.com to come out October 2nd. I think that's everything so far.
  23. This was recently posted over on the ap.net forums: I don't know about the # of bonus tracks but I do know that Hot Topic, Best Buy, and Walmart will all have exclusives. Possibly bonus tracks, possibly not. I got this information from WEA Corporation which owns Fueled By Ramen which is Paramore's label. I do know that Walmart's will have a free downloadable voicetone, which means that their exclusive may just be cell phone stuff. http://absolutepunk.net/showthread.php?p=6611008#post6611008
