  1. Hi, I am need of a ticket for the Manchester show so if anyone on here knows anyone who wants to sell their ticket please get back to me asap!
  2. I think if they just be calm about the situation when greeting a big number of fans and have 2 or 3 security gards on location to help control the situation, then I think it would work but no they have to try and dodge the fans and hide in their tour bus, they think their fans have to pay money to a fan club which only has usefullness to their American and Canadian fanbase and not to overseas fans, I'm sorry but this band are trying to push themselves away from their fans even more and their UK and European fans aren't "crazy" we give a lot of devotion and respect to the bands and artists we admire. I know that as a band gets bigger their connection to their fans may stray a bit but by creating this fan club which does no justise for the band, it has nothing which can really entise anyone, as for the meet and greet you just have to cross your fingers and hope that their management or whoever runs it picks you, which is stupid, if you pay the money and are going to the gig and you are able to make it to the meet and greet then all members of the fan club should be elagable to go to the meet and greet not a "select few". I'm sorry for ranting on like this but I sometimes feel on this board that I am the only one who speaks their mind on certain subjects which I feel need to be pointed out, I love the band each and everyone of them and the music they create but some of their business tactics and ideas are just way off the mark.
  3. Most fans in the UK are very respectful to the band and its a shame that they limit themselves so much to not want to go out and meet their fans. Yes there are some fans are a bit to obsessive and mad but thats only a very small majority of their fan base within the UK, most just want to say hi and get a few things signed and the band of furthering themselves from their fans by not wanting to go out out shows for a little bit.
  4. Ye there's something wrong with the RAR files.
  5. Do you have any of the other videos that broadcasted in HQ?
  6. They did a gd job of covering the song tbh.
  7. For god sake people these sort of things happen all the time with bands, and you saw what they wrote in their journel eveything will be sorted there is no reason to starting thinking they'll be breaking up. Lets just wait and see and hope everything will be ok. Some of you need to calm down, take a few deep breaths and go and watch some family guy and you'll be right as rain.
  8. I hope they'll still be headining the Give It A Name festival.
  9. They have been toring their asses off for soooooooo long since the release of RIOT! So they are obviously taking the wise decision to take a break and get a breather which is the right thing to do. And as well they are a young band with an average age of 17, so its expected with such a young band.
  10. You can understand why the American public voted Amy over Paramore. She does have quite an amazing voice and is quite different from many solo artists around now. She brings just a whole new package, and I'm not saying Paramore aren't as good and don't deserve the award, but you can understand why people would vote for Amy over Paramore.
  11. Well if they send you the Manchester one which I assume is the 29th one could upload it for me please?
  12. I heard it is because of Hayley's voice that night at the gig that they didn't want to release it, but thats just rumours it might not be true.
  13. That band the Conditioners were absolute shit just like This Providence who supported Paramore on their last UK tour. The Conditioners are just another band that don't know how to write their "own" songs so they have to copy what every other band is doing who are put into the emo/pop punk catorgory, they sounded so fake and rehersed when they were saying how much they appreciated the support and whatnot, now I know evey band does that but there are so some bands that do it to an extent that its hard to take them seriously. It just sickens me that we have so many bloody bands like this poping out all the time.
  14. Peopl check this quote from their Wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paramore
  15. Would anyone mind posting a download of the Manchester show from the 29th if they ordered it?
  16. Yes but that has to do with peoples precieved opinions on music today, the people or "music fans) choose tha band or artist who they like and dislike and thats how it goes and how it always has. NFG have the same sort of popy and fun loving feel, bursting with lots of energy within their songs like Paramore's accept Paramore's have this even more irresistible popy feel that everyone wants a piece of.
  17. Ok I do understand what your saying but I said the reason NFG didn't headline was because the state of the music industry today and because of many peoples precieved views of music today. But I do understand your view.
  18. I know that this review of the gig was maybe based on your opinion alone, but how you demolished NFG's performance in your review was just not right. Firstly in most circumstances NFG should have been headlining this tour but because of the way the music industry works today and how people preciecve music today that didn't happen. None the less though I did enjoy Paramore's performance very much, they had great energy and their stage set up was great. NFG are known for their energy at shows and their passion for music, because NFG are one of those bands that love what they do and just love performing and don't care about the money or whatever else, they just want to get out their and play. Now I'm not saying Paramore are like that but I just had to point out the flaw in your review of NFG's performance that night.
  19. Thats what you do at an NGF show have fun and go mad. You've probably never seen NFG live so I'll let you off but yes the show was amazing on the Tuesday I enjoyed both bands a lot, apart from the first support band who were a load of fakers and need to re-think their career plans.
  20. The support act is actually Kids In Glass Houses not You Me At Six. You Me At Six are supporting NFG on theit own headling UK dates.
  21. Ok maybe it was a bad example to pick on but the set seemed so short. As soon as it began it seemed to end as quickly as it began. I know Hayley is a phenomenal singer and her range is quite astounding but their set could have been longer. They only played for about 50 or 55 minutes which was quite suprising. Yes they had two other support acts but still the set list could have been a bit longer.
  22. Well you my be wrong with your info jess because when I saw for example Blink 182 back in 2004 at the M.EN they played 24 for songs and their set lasted about an hour and a half or maybe two hours but what I'm saying is that even though Hayley may have been ill they have two albums worth of songs and they could have added much more to the set list. Yes Blink have 7 albums but Paramore pretty did a half assed performance set list wise.
