  1. fellow paramaniacs..... the us headlining tour is upon us. only 2 more days till the biggest tour across the universe begins. so i HIGHLY suggest you get your tickets soon, if you plan on attending any of the tour dates. cause these tickets are selling FAST. check out this current list of sold-out venues: Oct 23- Starland Ballroom- Sayreville, NJ Oct 27- Utica College- Utica, NY Nov 9- The Grove- Anaheim, CA Nov 10- Majestic Theatre- Ventura, CA Nov 14- Wiltern Theatre- Los Angeles, CA Nov 23- Ram's Head Live- Baltimore, MD Nov 28- Roseland- New York, NY you can't miss out on this tour folks. it'll prolly be the biggest regret of your entire life. so go out and get your tickets ASAP!!! :]
  2. so the paramore/tsl/almost US tour is about to start up here soon. and you know when paramore has a headlining tour, it's most definitely gonna be a big deal. every paramaniac from coast to coast is getting their favorite riot shirt out of the closet and getting ready to anxiously sing their hearts out. probably to the point of completely losing their voice the next morning lol. but anyways, lemme get to my question: what do you think will be the theme for this upcoming US tour? (if there's even gonna be a theme or a concept to it) AND/OR what are you expecting or wanting to see during this tour? particular songs? duets? clothes? hayley playing keyboard again? (which i would love to see again)
  3. oh believe us. paramore crowds are no joke. and the crowds will most likely be alot bigger and alot more brutal now since lots of people are discovering the band. but if you wanna be in the front..... be prepared to be bumped and slammed around and completely lose your hearing after the show. they can get pretty wild lol
  4. as we all know, paramore is one of the BEST bands to watch live because their shows are so fun and energetic. and they love to get the crowd involved. in the words of hayley, "crowd participation is a must". however, watching a live paramore show comes with its consequences..... the first time i saw the band was at warped this year in san antonio. and after waiting countless hours in the blazing texas heat, i managed to move my way close to the front of the crowd with my friends. so i was pretty much RIGHT THERE when their set started. i heard the intro start to play and right when the band started to play..... WHAM!!! i got slammed forward like 20 feet by hundreds of screaming paramaniacs. then i proceeded to stand through 30 minutes of being repeatedly elbowed, kicked and headbutted to the face. but i endured the pain like a champ. it takes a tough fan to watch a paramore show up close. be prepared for possible injuries lol and even though you leave with a few bumps and bruises, it is all SO worth it. share YOUR paramore crowd experience :] help inform others who haven't got the chance to see them live yet
  5. i figured this might be a neat little thread to start up. for one, i'm just TOO excited about the upcoming fall tour so i wanna share my excitement with my fellow paramaniacs. actually we'll all share our excitement together...... let us know which tour date you plan on going to. when? and where? i guess i'll start. sunday, nov. 18th @ stubb's BBQ, austin TX good music + delicious finger-lickin' texas BBQ doesn't get much better than that :]
  6. the song is up one spot from yesterday. awesome news. seems like paramore is slowly but surely creeping their way up to the number one spot. i'm sure the band is totally excited to see their video moving up. they must be loving this right now. great job guys. let's keep up the voting :]
  7. woo hoo! seems like paramore is steadily workin their way up in the rankings. i guess all our voting is finally starting to work. but now we gotta keep it going. and maybe one day they'll quite possible reach number 1. that'll certainly be the day when paramore passes up fall out boy and justin timberlake and soulja boy. it might even go down as one of the band's greatest moments :] so come on guys.... VOTE VOTE VOTE!!!!
  8. well as you all may know, NFG and paramore are obviously like best friends. and paramore got a chance to be in NFG's new music video for their cover of "kiss me" by sixpence none the richer. this is actually the finished music video. not the behind the scenes one that you prolly seen. pretty cool cameo that paramore got to do. they looked pretty awesome rocking out to the song. check out the guy at the end of the video that tries to get a kiss from hayley. and only manages to get a slap to the face. hahaha http://myspacetv.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=17445337
  9. lol @ at the vid. alright hayley, i see you're really diggin the hardcore screamo music. i'm totally feelin you with the longhorn in the air. true rocker at heart :]
  10. ^^ kiss me by sixpence none the richer it's a cover song they chose to do. you might remember it. it was that sappy love song they used to play on the radio and bazillion times a day lol. but expect to see it on the next nfg record that hopefully comes out in september
  11. as we all know, the band just wrapped up their run on the 2007 vans warped tour. (hopefully most of you got a chance to see their set. cause they were nothing short of amazing, especially at the san antonio date) and though they seem kinda bummed that it's over, they can now focus on the big US fall tour they have planned, which EVERYONE is anticipating. but the end of another summer also means three important accomplishments 1) a third warped tour appearance in the bag 2) a co-headlining spot on main stage in the bag 3) swarms of devoted new fans.....in the bag so you're prolly wondering where i'm going with all this. well here's my question for you guys....... do you think we can officially call paramore "warped tour veterans" now? or do you believe they haven't quite reached that status yet?
  12. well we're all fans here. it's basically what we all have in common in this little community. and we all can agree that we LOVE riot and all we know is falling. they're both AMAZING cds. in fact, they're so amazing, i find myself listening to both cds in constant rotation quite often. so again, here's my question for all the paramaniacs...... how often do you listen to paramore? everyday? once a week? a few times a month?
  13. this was just a little topic that came to mind. alot of times, i wonder how the band manages to live the kind of life they live. though it seems wonderful and glamorous, not everything is as good as it seems. they love to play music. they love to perform. they love to connect and make the fans (a.k.a. all of us) happy. but i doubt they love EVERYTHING about their sudden upgrade to "celebrity status". so that leads me to my question. just an open ended question for us to discuss. feel free to share your opinions. we're all friends here :] what do you think are the advantages and disadvantages of being such a popular band like paramore?
  14. they totally just updated it like a few minutes ago. i saw the bulletin on myspace lol. but enjoy :] Ignore it our LJ community has always been a place where anyone could come and talk. mostly about the band but also about the feelings that music gave each one of you. through all that, we kinda watched this place become our common ground and you guys have sorta become connected in a weird way. now, people are shitting all over it. haha. but you know what? none of it matters. cause none of those people know what's really going on here. it's not about my hair. it's not about my being a girl. it's not even about the 4 of us that are in the band. it's about how music gave us a place to turn to. a place where we could relate to each other. an escape. i'm really sorry that that place is messed up right now. it will get back on track somehow. yes, the place needs some extreme moderation. we'll figure it out. until then... please ignore it. we'll do our best to delete and delete but just ignore it! it ain't worth your time to try and fight people who don't care what any of us have to say anyhow. on a completely different - and much more pleasant - note, Pan's Labrynth is becoming our favorite movie ever... we're watching it now. thanks for reading. love you guys. -all of us.
  15. i really don't think any of them look like their "celebrity look-alikes" :/
  16. i think we all can agree that paramore has certainly climbed their way to the peak of "mt. mainstream". for many bands/musical artists, it's a difficult journey. and most of them fall short of the halfway point. but luckily for paramore, they came equipped with a duffel-bag filled with powerchords and infectious melodies for the daunting task they were oh so prepared to conquer. what they lacked in "age and experience", they made up for and even exceeded in talent and pure showmanship. now, more than 3 years (and 2 hit records) later, this determined bunch of young musicians are living up the highlight of their fast-paced careers. i'm sure hayley, josh, jeremy and zac would all agree...... the view from the top looks pretty damn good. they're just waiting for that one moment when they can officially plant that flag and claim their territory in pop-punk history. and with the help of MTV and tons of devoted fans, that moment is coming very soon. be ready. ladies and gentlemen, para-mania has begun.......
  17. its ALL uphill from here for paramore. say hello to bright lights and fame guys. you deserve it. it feels good to know that us fans are helping bring you guys to the top :]
  18. the band should've released a DVD with riot. that would've been so awesome. remember in that one interview, they said they were considering doing it. but idk, i would just LOVE to see a paramore DVD. with live performances, exclusive interviews, backstage footage, and just some footage of them hanging out and goofing around :]
  19. thats cool. i really hope paramore wins the award. even though i don't like Kerrang! that much. they're kinda two-faced when it comes to paramore. know what i mean?
  20. for the time being..... paramore IS MTV. or maybe it's temporarily PTV, i should say :]
  21. well....in regards to that person trying to bash on paramore in the lj community, i think hayley definitely set her straight. it's kinda surprising to actually see her reply to one of the threads though. maybe she should do it more often :]
  22. you know how The Academy Is has TAI TV? if you're not familiar with that, TAI TV is like a weekly webshow that the band films and edits for their fans to watch. sometimes they're funny skits they do and other times they're about "a day in their life" or backstage footage. anyways, don't you think it would be awesome if paramore had their own webshow like that? i mean, afterall, they DO film a lot of videos as it is especially recently for the band's mtv blog. plus those kids are just so fun to watch. fans would LOVE to "tune in" every week and watch the new episode of paramore tv on their computers :]
  23. i think it's cool how a band can wear all these wild, brightly-colored clothes and just look amazing performing together on stage. but i mean, they've always focused on their image though. two thumbs up on originality paramore :]
  24. i would REALLY like to thank the guys that actually put this video together because i think they did an awesome job capturing like the true essence of the band and what they're all about. if anything, this was the PERFECT time for them to release a video like this. so new fans could get a better feel for them and for old fans to kinda recollect or reminisce on memories of the earlier paramore. from crappy warped stages and crowded clubs to sold-out venues, they've come a LOOOOONG way. and things are just gonna go uphill from here :]
  25. eh....i mean fame and publicity happens to every good band. there's really no way of avoiding it if you make amazing music thats tons of ppl love. its bound to catch the attention of the public eye. basically it all just boils down to "how" a band deals with all the press and publicity. and i strongly think that paramore handles it very well. they realize they're quickly becoming more and more of a household name, but still appreciate the fans and how far we've helped them in their musical career. afterall "WE" (the fans), are the ones who helped bring all this mainstream attention. so if there's even anyone to blame than it's us lol. but personally, i couldn't be happier with how things are turning out for them :]
