sorry, i think i copied and pasted the links from the bulletin i sent on myspace, thanks for fixing it, and thanks for all your help! but this is just round one, it's gonna get tougher once it gets up against better albums, so we all gotta pull together to get it to the final sucks for fall out boy and jimmy eat world though

during the interview we were talking about clothes and stuff, and in particular the scarf i was wearing (which is now in hayleys posession, she wore it onstage that night, which was the best thing ever) and they asked me to take them to the place that sold them the next day. jeremy bought one and I've seen hayley wearing it in pics recently.

first time was after their first ever show in manchester, the give it a name introduces tour, we hung outside for a bit, there was maybe 10-12 people there, then we gave up, went and got some food, walking back thought we'd have a last look and they'd literally just come out, so we threw out food into a bush and went and talked to them. Got a picture with Hayley and spoke to her a bit, but some annoying, loud girl was proper corwding her, so I left and went to speak to Zac and Josh for about half an hour about the new underoath and hair care tips. the second time was on their first headlining tour after that, and I was interviewing them, so got to hang with them on the bus (see picture in sig). they recognised me, which was really sweet, and we had a good laugh. hayley was in little furry slippers. third time was in leeds the next day, I was sposed to be going shopping around the city with them, but when i called their tour manager to see what time i was sposed to be at the venue, they'd had a last minute meeting with the record company added to their schedule, so their whole day got messed up, but I managed to meet up with Hunter and Jeremy after they'd been shopping and spoke to them for about 15, and said goodbyes to the guys after their show that night.

So I write for a website called Decoy Music and we're holding a tournament to find our album of 2007. It's cool and all, but most of the users like boring stuff, and as such, good music is suffering! Now, I'm sure for most of you (as it most definitely is with me) RIOT! is your album of the year. So it would be awesome if you could sign up to the site(this really isn't me promoting the site, I just want Paramore to beat all the pretentious stuff everyone likes there, and win the award it derserves) and then vote for Paramore here. If you could spare a minute or so to help them get through the various rounds of the tournament (I'll update this thread when the next rounds open) and we can get RIOT! to the final, that would be awesome. Thankyou so much. Oh also, while youre there, you may want to try and help Fall Out Boy too here because they're getting quite badly beat, and Infinity on High is awesome THANKYOU FOR HELPING YOU LOVELY PEOPLE, LETS MAKE IT ALBUM OF THE YEAR! I'd be happy with a natural progression from RIOT! to be honest. After AWKIF, the Summer Tic EP hinted that they were gonna incorporate a heavier style, with the reworked version of Emergency and all, I spoke to em about it, and Josh was laughing about having loads of underOATH style breakdowns in the new stuff, which i was fine with haha But how RIOT! came out, i couldn't have been happier really. It has hardly left my stereo since release, and whenever the new record comes out, I'm just looking forward to seeing how the progress from here, be that focusing more on the riffs (Pessimist/Optimistic style) or the more dreamy indie pop (When It Rains) or the anthemic (crushcrushcrush). Either ways, I'll be totally happy

there was some talk on it before, so for anybody interested.. the yellowy brown scarf hayley is wearing is, im pretty sure, one that jeremy bought when they were in Leeds, UK in 06. i interviewed them the day before at the manchester show wearing a blue one, which hayley said she liked, so i gave it her and she wore it onstage that night. they asked if i could take them to the place where they sold them (mine was from leeds) so i was sposed to meet up with them the next day, but their schedule got messed up by a record company dinner, so i only managed to see hunter and jeremy for a bit, and jeremy had just bought that scarf. bit of a random story for you

i dunno. i always feel I have to really talk up paramore as a band and how good their performances are to counter the fact that you can hardly ever say 'paramore' to someone without saying 'hayley is hot!' people seem to ignore the fact that they're genuinely one of the tightest and most fun live acts touring these days.

i got there for like 7.10am, and there was some semblance of a queue, but then everyone just ran around and pushed in and stuff til there was pretty much chaos. it was embarassing to be a fan of the band yesterday. me and my friend just stood out of the queue and watched it for a couple hours. it was all little 12 year olds being dicks and lots of people who clearly didn't even like the band that much. it's sad that true fans couldnt get to see it. I'm pretty disgusted with HMV really. terrible, terrible organization.

i did GCSEs like, four years ago. man i feel old. i WISH university exams had any kind of section where I could write about paramore haha.

i think they mean how he takes charge in interviews/photoshoots and is the centre of attention in the band. which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but is what Hayley gets pretty much ridiculued for, because shes female.

haha, i sure am. and thankyou for all your feedback. it's just so annoying getting excited about a paramore cover story, only to have them just slag the band off and exploit hayley, every single time. I just needed to get it into words haha

hey guys, i hope nobody takes this as spam, or me trying to do some kind of self promotion, but basically, i write for this website/magazine called Felix and I just wrote a piece (well, more of a rant) on the abundance of sexism in the music press, based around Paramore's treatment in Kerrang! magazine in the UK. I love this band so much, and this topic really sickens me, and I'd like to hear your thoughts on the matter. Here is the article. please let me know what you think thanks! alex xo
