miss_emergency Posted June 7, 2007 Report Share Posted June 7, 2007 unlike you extremely lucky people... i haven't actually met anyone, but i got an autograph from AAR and they know my name and that im my science teacher's fave student... weird. hahaha... cuz my science teacher is Chris Gaylor's cousin so he got me an autograph and he told me Chris says "hi" and "i think you're cool.. and science is boring. lol" so yeahh... i was suppose to meet them but on the day of their concert here my teacher lost the V.I.P. tickets and i got grounded so i couldn't go... damn it... ok that was long and pointless but whatevers... Oh and I've run into several players of the San Antonio SPURS basketball team.. only because I live in San Antonio. I don't really watch basketball. Uh.. Monica Brant, she's a fitness model I guess. My dad and her dad are best friends, though.. so I don't know if it really counts. I've met the two chicks in Skillet because they were standing next to me in the photo area at a Flyleaf show once when I was taking pictures. At that same show I also came across the singer of Skillet and the singer Ryan White of Resident Hero while backstage. Oh.. and my cousin is a famous soccer player/soccer coach in South America. But unless you live in South America, chances are you won't know who he is. That's all I can think of at the moment.. So in that case I've met Al Gore, seen Hillary.... Uhm... Musicians?... Two of the guys from The Graduate were in a band called Best Of Winter and they played at a venue here a couple times, so I KIND of met them... And Corey Taylor from Slipknot//Stone Sour is apparently around a lot, though I've never MET him... OH OH! I've met a few of the Women's National Team soccer players... Brandi Chastain, Briana Scurray, Siri Mullinix... Autographs yayy. But yeah... That's about it... No one too exciting, 'cept for Chastain. That's because everyone feels the need to ignore Iowans unless it has something to do with Presidential campaigns, our Ethanol (or corn in general), or people getting it on with sheep in blue nighties not 10 minutes from where I live... Jarrod walked up to my friend and said "Dude, you have nice hair.." lol.. even though his hair ain't that nice.. hahaha.. then my other friend shook hands with Tyson Ritter.. grr... and my other friend caught Travis Barker's drum stick and Tom DeLougne's water bottle at a Blink concert.. but me.. i'm waiting to meet paramore because i want them to be the first famous people i meet.
