Lahninja Posted April 5, 2008 Report Share Posted April 5, 2008 ive come out to the whole school now i think. some girl at school's going round saying im a lesbian, and when people ask me, i'll just go 'no im bi cheers' and walk off. i told my mum, and she was cool with it, but i dont have the same relationship with my dad. at all. my dads side of the family know, and they were so homophobic at the time. but then again, quite a few strong black families are.. so i just gave them guilt trip badly. 'you're just pathetic. you cant even accept your own family for being different. you know what? im not even gonna bother coming to visit you anymore. if you cant make the effort to accept something new, then i cant make the effort to come and see you' thats how i cracked my dads side of the family. but saying that, my mums side of the family dont know. and i dont want them to know. i think my aunts cracked onto it.. i told my cousin daniel, and thats about it. and i came out to my friends, by telling my best friend i was, i didnt tell her to keep it a secret, so she told everyone (how i planned it) and everyone asked, and i said yes. but i told one friend by like, making out with her whilst we were drunk. =] the good old days... breakablethread Posted April 6, 2008 Report Share Posted April 6, 2008 my friends called me a lesbian since i was in primary school rofl they all had super gaydars. i think most of my friends were waiting for it to be honest. i dont remember the specific point where i actually came out but most of my friends twigged on by the time i was in like year 10 or 11. My mum kinda found out by mistake after she read a note my gf had written to me and when she asked me about it she was like "WHAT ARE YOU, SOME SORT OF LESBIAN?" so i was like "yes. yes i am". my dad didnt really bring it up until me and my gf had a big fight and broke up for like 12 hours rofl. but he was like "you'll have plenty of boyfriends ... and ... girlfriends" so i guess they accept it but i think theyre waiting for me to grow out of it haha. and both my sisters have used "you stupid ... gay girl" and "you stupid lesbian" more than once so im guessing they know but i dont think anyone beyond that knows, only because my mums side is gossip central rofl and they just bitch about everyone in the family and if they found out itd be all they talked about for weeks. and on my dads side theres my grandma whos like a devout catholic and frowns upon sex before marriage rofl so shes not gonna like gay sex before marriage hah. and my aunty is a complete god freak haha and she wraps my cousins up in cotton wool and like doesnt let them watch thats so raven because she has supernatural powers or summat i dunno. so yeah.
