arrrrr x matey Posted October 25, 2008 Report Share Posted October 25, 2008 the pitch with kevin went great!! our proposal we had written up basically had the bases covered. and we found information and told the soon-to-be advisor soem things the vice princcipal didnt expect us to even know. so he said he thinks its a great idea. 2 and 3 years ago, students actually proposed the idea, but never followed through with it. we've gone the farthest with it then anyone else has. he's actually mad that it hasnt been established yet, but administrators cant start up clubs/etc bc it looks like "oh, well mr t wanted this..." but if it comes from the students it'll be liked. :] sooooo anyway. he and the other VP [who already told us she LOVES the idea] have to talk to the principal, who they expect will like it. then from there, they're going to have to go to the superintendent of the schools. if he likes it, kevin and i have to write a mission statement. after that, if he likes it, we have ourselves a new club. i'm so excited!! :hyper: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

arrrrr x matey Posted October 25, 2008 Report Share Posted October 25, 2008 i know!! both the VPs are proud of us and excited that we're doing this. it feels so good too. like, just think. we might be the starting of a new club that will hopefully catch on. we might be remembered somehow. like, we will actually leave an impact on the school. and we've told friends about it, who said they'll join. we told other ppl about it, who said they'll join. adn everyone we talked to is gonna spread the word. our class president who everyone LOVES said he'll be the first one to join. and if steve does things, everyone does things.
