cheap_perfume Posted December 13, 2007 Report Share Posted December 13, 2007 i've known paramore basically for two years. a month after the first album came out. and i would never think they're sell outs. they do create their own music from personal experiences, which makes it so much more different than most music out there. i know there's other music from personal experiences, but there's is just more realistic. if that makes sense? haha. anyways, new fans are getting to my last bit of nerve, but i don't care. the fans that knew them before all this are here to stay. or atleast they should be. =) haha. I'm a new fan, in a ways, cause I only got into Paramore after Riot! was released, but I certainly like AWKIF as much as the new stuff, and I know that there's more than Hayley in the band...but yeah I've heard stories about idiot newbie fans who only like a few songs or such. And at live Paramore vids I've seen on youtube, there always seems to be someone in the crowd yelling 'HAYLEY I LOVE YOU!' or 'MARRY ME!' All I have to say is, their loss, if they only want to like a few songs or fancy the lead singer. And as for 'selling out'...I hate that term. It makes it sound like a band's not allowed to have more fans than just the initial small handful. If they want to grow and get more fame, they have to do stuff that gets them noticed. Rant over.
