The Black on Black I imagine I don't need to post more than one picture of the black because you should know what it looks like by now. 2. The 3-tone Sunburst Reasons I want the black one. It's Josh's guitar. Nuff said. It's so freakin shiny! Reasons I want the Sunburst one. It's so different and awesome looking. I already have a black guitar even though I hate it. Ibanez has a much more metal tone, Fender has a much more mid-tone 1950/60's Rock sound, and Jackson is a huge choice of musicians from any year. I adore the sunburst. they look so good, new and old; the black looks sharp now, but if/when it gets older and more battered, it'll begin to lose its appeal. The sunburst is timeless. Lahninja Posted January 17, 2008 Report Share Posted January 17, 2008 agree with jorgi actually, i have a 2tone cherry sunburst had it for 2 years, and its still in great condition even though mines 2 tone lol, and not 3tone and whereas my friend got a black one the same day, his black one has lost its 'touch' as you will. My guitar isn't in sunburst, but if they made the same model in it i'd have it like a shot. And Lahni^ DEAN ! i have a dean acoustic, it is the mintest sounding acoustic i've ever played.
