Most rap now is about "hos", "gangstas" and "bling", it has no message, other than lame materialistic crap and takes a very chauvanistic view of women. It's all jus' shallow, mindless crap, like most mainstream music. F*ck people like Chamillionaire, Lil Wayne, 50 Cent or Chingy, they're sh*te. One of the only mainstream rappers that's any good is Eminem. Jay-Z's not too bad, and Biggie Smalls' stuff is still pretty badass. Seriously, though, for good rap, listen to Dead Prez, or Public Enemy, there are others, but they're two of the best, imo. I love hip-hop but not what hip-hop has become now. They rap bout the same thing over and over. I Like Lil Wayne, but only in a few songs. Sometimes he raps bout nothin, only tryna rhyme. Other songs like.. "Hustler Musik" "Something You Forgot" I liked b/c it had meaning to it. Thats just my view on him.
