"This is definitely more of a rock album -- more immediate and definitely more of a focused, direct approach musically," he says. Burgan also announced that the band hopes to finish and release the disc in time for a summer tour. However, he adds, "whether or not it's out, we'll be on the road." AFI Set Course for Crash Love AFI have revealed that Crash Love is the title of their next album, set for release later this year. The band was recently joined in the studio by contest winners who earned a chance to contribute backing vocals to the disc, which follows 2006's Decemberunderground.
