aw sweet! you got first row? there was like one person between me and the barrier during Paramore. actually the entire time. hah. DUDE i totally got that a few times. but one time he was like staying in one position for people to take pictures, i swear i tried to take a picture like five times, and it didn't work! my camera is weird. anyway i'll post a few pictures soon with a link to my photobucket so you can look at the rest of them. i have a bunch from This Providence's and Cute's sets, too.

ahh this kinda makes me feel bad about having last night and now these shows have to wait. but i shouldn't feel guilty, all i did was enjoy them in all their glory. hah. but yeah, i really hope Hayley gets a lot of good rest so everyone can experience an amazing show. she's a trooper.

hey, i'm probably gonna end up making one of these since i now finally have my own experience to take ideas from, and i'll probably use a picture or two that i have now. (hooray!) anyway, my friend might want to make one so she could probably send it to me and then i could send it through here? she doesn't do the whole message board thing. ahhah.

hey guys! i didn't get home till like, maybe 12 or so last night and had work this morning till 5. but i'm gonna do the "review" type thing and i'll post pictures later. okay so first i had a ton of confusion earlier on in the day, but finally at like 2 we left my house to pick up my friend and then headed to Tower Records on South Street. so we got there and Paramore was just standing there in front of the counter, then moved to behind the counter and there was a line that wrapped around the store. so my friend and i got in line and my dad just stood around. eventually we were getting closer and my dad took my friend's camera, came back with it, and then took mine and came back. he had taken pics of the band for us, they're pretty sweet. (my dad is pretty cool, seriously.) so when we got up there, we skipped past Cute, ahah, and they just signed and no one said anything, but i did ask Hayley if she was feeling better. so she did the little hand signal that says "a little bit", and then i moved over to Josh and he said "i'm better." i just laughed or whatever. so that was the signing. (P.S.: Paramore didn't perform, as we found out a little later. but they did do the signing, obviously) oh yeah, and Zac somehow missed my friend's cd booklet. more on this later. we went and got some Greek food. then we went over to the TLA and my friend and i got in line, waited for a couple hours, etc. so when we got in we ran to the stage and were a couple people back from the barrier, and i was basically front and center the whole night. This Providence was GREAT. i am pretty much in love with them now. I didn't listen to any Hit The Lights before, but they may have made me a fan. they have a ton of energy on stage. It seemed like Cute got a pretty huge turnout, and i enjoyed their set. (btw, after Cute's stuff got all set up, they still weren't coming out, and next thing you know, Hunter comes out with like, ray-ban sunglasses on and starts playing around on the drums and got everybody chanting "WE WANT CUTE!" i thought it was hilarious) okay. sooo everybody was getting really excited for Paramore as far as i could tell. Hunter and Jeremy came out before just to get stuff set up, and then left again, and after a little while the lights dimmed down really low and here comes Hayley with the lantern. it was pretty neat. honestly, their set was absolutely amazing. it was my first time seeing them, so i may be biased, if that's even the right word to use there. but honestly, phantasmagorical. so yeah they played everything from AWKIF except Brighter. and it did feel really short, but it was still great. and i was singing along like craaaazy. the crowd didn't get that bad at all. at the most some people jumped around. but it definitely felt like everyone was enjoying themselves immensely. uhhm. i'm trying to think of some stand-out moments... during one of the songs, Hayley was talking about us helping her out since she's sick and singing really loudly and all. and we did just that the entire time. so much fun. i pretty much love Jeremy when he gets everybody clapping... ahh jeez i forget what songs, but yeah. oh, they obviously did the encore (My Heart), and at the end of it, Hayley told us all to sing something kinda random-ish, but it was kinda eery, in a good way. i think everyone did it. it sounded like it. of course, the crowd participation in Whoa. awesome energy. OH. YEAH. i forget what song it was during, but at one point Josh picked up his microphone stand and held it out over the crowd for us to all sing. it was pretty great, i got a picture of it. When just Hayley and Josh were playing Franklin (before the rest of the band came in), i seriously was nearly crying. Hayley just sounded extremely passionate and sincere with that one. alright finally. so afterwards we hit up the This Providence merch, i just got their old cd for 5 bucks (i tipped, too, don't worry.) my friend had caught half of a drumstick at the end of their set and got the drummer (Ryan, right?) to sign it. then went to the Paramore merch, got two posters (one for my friend, one for me) and the ep. THEN, we were like WELL EVERYBODY ELSE AT OTHER SHOWS HUNG AROUND, SO WHY DON'T WE? we were determined, so we walked like a block up and sat like on the other side of the little street the bus was on. i felt really creepy doing that, because we were the only people there waiting. absolutely no one else. but they were all so cool about it. first Hayley came, and we got pictures and just expressed our love ahhaha. she was really cool, even though she didn't say anything. so we stayed on the side of the street they'd have to go to to get in the bus, and next came Hunter. we actually kinda had a conversation with him for a couple minutes and got pictures. he's such a sweet guy. then i think Josh came over, and we talked to him a little and got pictures. i mentioned what he had said to me at the signing earlier about being 'better' and he like forgot but then remembered and was like "Oh!" and i like jokingly was like "i didn't know you were sick!" and he kinda laughed, i think, and was like "i was joking", but the tone he said it with was like 'you're silly', but in the nicest way possible. then Jeremy came out and he was talking to a couple girls who i was guessing are on tour with them, not sure who they are, but so my friend like slooowly approached and was like "sorry if we're intruding or anything, but could we get pictures?" and he was so nice about it. and he made faces, of course, and i was like "nice face" and he said "gotta have one for every picture. i dunno if that was gay or anything..." hahahah. he's pretty hilarious. so then Zac still wasn't there, but we decided to wait longer since he didn't sign my friend's booklet, and we were determined. but then he was walking to the bus and there were a couple people with him, and we didn't want to interrupt or anything. so then he got on the bus and we waited longer but he wasn't coming out, and we figured he probably needed rest and all. so we left to find my dad nearby with highly-appreciated bottles of water. but basically, they were all pretty much the sweetest people i've ever met. EDIT: sorry that's soooo long and detailed, guys. i'm highly detail-oriented. and i'm beginning to believe that OCD is in my blood. not really bad, but yeah, it's there. hahah.

yeah i called tower earlier and they said it was on. but even if they're telling the truth, i'm not going anyway because my friend made plans to go to lunch with someone today and said person was supposed to pick her up at noon, but they didn't. so now she probably isn't gonna be home until after the in-store starts, and then i have to pick her up and get to south street. so basically, i'm missing the in-store. but i'm hoping to be at the TLA around 3 at the latest. a little upset, but i still get to see them tonight, RIGHT?! so it's still pretty great.

really? i talked to my friend earlier (8/19. IT'S TOMORROW!!!), and she said she checked and that it isn't happening... COMMENCE PROJECT: MASS CONFUSION.

^ hahahhhh you just made me think "you're onlyyyy a day awayyyyy". aww you're going to the M&G? i envy you. but i'm convinced that i can technically stay after for a while, even if i do have to be in work the next day at 10. that's why the alarm clock was invented. plus, i'm planning on getting there quite early.

OOH! You know what i'm wondering? with those survey things, on his he says he would most like to visit Greece. i wonder if he has ever had/likes Greek food (i'm personally in love with the stuff)? there's actually a Greek place on South Street, which is where the show on Sunday is. i need some of that stuff.

duuuude, i think we have the same birthday! that's pretty sweet. i had my last day of school on my birthday this year. which was kinda cool, since it was a half day, but at the same time it wasn't because that meant taking final exams on my birthday. uhhm let's see..something on the subject of Zac. as i said in a post in here a while back, i find it flippin amazing that he is in this great band. and uhh, yeah, even though i've never met him or anything (MAYBE I WILL ON SUNDAY. *hoping*) he just seems like a cool kid. probably cooler than any guy i know who is my age.

i'm guessing you mean 11:30 (to get there by 1)? haha. i'm also guessing you live a while away. it should take me like maybe half an hour or a little longer to get there.woo. and yeah as long as my parents feel it's safe enough, or my friend and i just scheme, we'll prob. end up walking around and maybe we'll see you! oh and about the cameras.. i've never been to the TLA before, but my friend who i'm going with has been there twice, and she's had a camera both times. adding to that what you said about everyone having cameras when you've been there before, that makes me positive that they allow cameras. whew. this is really long. i'll shut up now.

^i'm not even sure what time. i don't wanna go at some ridiculously early time. maybe a little while after noon. i'd really like to get there early enough to take a quick stroll down south street, hopefully find somewhere to get some Arizona Green Tea (i'm obsessed with that stuff). but that all depends on if my parents actually trust that i'm gonna be fine with my friend on south street. i'm pretty sure that it's not so bad in broad daylight. hahah. plus, my friend was just there on sunday and spent a bunch of time just on the street and made it out alive, so uhh yeah. jeeesh i keep thinking of this song my parents have been singing (for no apparent reason) lately. cheers! these boards are a safe haven. it must be every single LJ community at some point just gets a crapton of. . . crap? that basically ruins the atmosphere (if there was one in the first place). but the people on these boards are just great. pretty much the single place i'm not kind of afraid to make posts. very welcoming.

i am digging this thread a lot. and someday i will post something on here because i loveloveloveeee writing. sometimes i'll just get a random spark of inspiration from out of nowhere and write something small and mean to turn it into something, but i never do. you guys can be my inspiration/motivational 'speakers'(writers). haha.

hahah yayyy other people like me! yeah i hope i do get to meet them after the Philly show, esp. Josh because he just seems hilarious, and like a cool person in general, although all of them seem like that, really. so pretty much whatever happens, i'll be happy. even if i stutter and mumble and stuff. hahah.

golly. these threads are dead right now. hahhah. is there some routine here that i'm unaware of? anyway, even if i was SERIOUSLY considering asking the question, i'd prob. chicken out anyway because i'd just feel weird. and kinda stupid. so don't worry, i promise i am not going to do it. and i am pretty good at keeping promises. i'm such a dork.
