  1. i don't even know. my mom gets bothered by the fact that i change my mind like every few months. and i get a little annoyed with it, too, but usually i get annoyed with her harping on my indecision all the time. ANYWAY. when i was really young, i thought something in like archeology would be cool, and then that just disappeared. then it was like architecture, then that went as well, then i said "maybe something more math oriented, like accounting or something." and then i changed completely and was like "something with writing! like journalism, or whatever." i was actually into that for a few years. and now i'm in my senior year, and i was thinking about languages, and then about fulfilling pre-med. requirements in college and then doing med. school and studying Forensic Pathology to be a Medical Examiner, 'cause i think it would be pretty sweet, and it is in fact a pretty good match for my personal characteristics/qualities, as both my mom and i think. but then i changed my mind again a few weeks ago for whatever reason. so basically i'm about to enter second semester of my senior year of high school and i have no idea.
  2. oh man that one was bad. it didn't help that she was very awkward. it's kinda sad...on the philly auditions, there was one girl who sounded pretty terrible who was apparently from my hometown, hahah. then again, one of the girls from like the first season of Flavor of Love went to my high school. uyyy.
  3. so why did this thread die? i first found out about TREOS probably just shortly after i heard of paramore. i guess it was like the beginning of summer '06, because i had found out that Circa Survive was doing a tour and saw TREOS listed in the lineup, and checked out some of their stuff and really enjoyed it. so then i found out they were putting out a new cd this past august, and i think i got it a couple weeks after it came out, but for some reason never really listened to it. technically i listened to it about once through, but i wasn't really paying attention to it. so tonight i decided to FINALLY listen to it, and holy crap it's amazing. before i even put the cd on, i had gone to the page that for some reason is still up with the band members' comments on each song, and read about "The Salesman, The Husband, The Lover," and then was like "well then i have to see for myself what this is all about. and that song literally gave me chills, esp. since i went on songmeanings.net to look up all the lyrics - even though i have the booklet, it's just easier to do online.. i guess - and was reading along. and other people had commented on the lyrics saying they got chills listening to it. i'm pretty sure that's gotta be a testament to how amazing they are. the crazy thing is how different it sounds from the stuff i had from Between the Heart and the Synapse, and i wonder how that would have turned out had Casey still been in the band. but he's got The Dear Hunter (whose cds i NEED to get ASAP) now, and that seems pretty great.
  4. wow. i have so many reasons to love you right now. hahaha. 1) that video. that guy is the best part of the auditions so far, for sure. 2)Your avatar. 3)your sig. both parts, really, but esp. "NOT DA MOMMA!"
  5. dude that's freakin SWEET! where did this post (the info) come from?
  6. ooohh i haven't seen it, but maybe i'll go see it. i sit with a few friends in my AP Bio class and we started doing "bio movie matinees", though we've only done one so far, and it was a horrid result (we saw Awake, which sucked). but one of them mentioned cloverfield, so i guess i'll have to tell them i read that it's good. actually, i read it somewhere else earlier, too. thanks for posting about this.
  7. i love both of those. the top one is hilarious, they look like seven-year-old girls. ahahha. the poses automatically remind me of The Little Rascals movie when the girls are having their sleepover and the boys are having theirs.... yeah, sorry, bit of a tangent. ANYWAY. did anyone know that there's a facebook group called Taylor York Fans! ? i just think it's funny 'cause i just joined a few days ago and one of my pics of him from the headlining tour this past spring is in the group photos. and for some reason that made me happy, hah. i'm a dork, yeah.
  8. my random contribution to the randomness thread. when my mom picked me up from school today, we turned down a side street and were about to turn down another and of course these stupid kids decide to cross the street in the way that would take the most time possible (seriously). my mom honked the horn at them, and the one kid flipped her off. so she drives up the street, puts down the window on my side, and turns around to go back down the street. just as we're a little PAST the kids, we're right next to these kids in my grade (seniors), and hopefully they didn't think my mom was talking to them. but momma had some choice words for the turds that crossed the street like idiots, including "twat," which seems to be one she loves, and i personally think it's a hilarious word. anyway, i was pretty embarrassed at the moment but realized soon enough that it was one of the funniest experiences. that is all the randomness from me today. farewell.
  9. i'm looking forward to getting first semester finals over with next week. i'm also looking forward to AP Bio Seminar, which means CAT DISSECTION, WOO!
  10. sheesh what kind of camera do you have? that audio was so clear, and the video was great too.
  11. YESSSS YOU GOT FACES IN DISGUISE ON VIDEO! you have no idea how much i've wanted to see a video of it from that show. going to watch it now.
  12. 1) i also would like to see juno 2)one missed call only ended dumb? i haven't seen it, but from the previews, i thought the whole of it looked dumb. movies that i love: Comedies ***Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone synced with Wizard People, Dear Reader. today i went over my friend's house and watched the dvd with the audio on an ipod, but it's all posted in episodes on youtube as well. one of the funniest things ever. Joe Dirt Clifford (with Martin Short, it's flippin hilarious) Just Friends Wayne's World, moreso the first one. i remember watching the scene where wayne's ex rides into a parked car on her bike OVER and OVER in slow motion. Revenge of the Nerds Ace Ventura Accepted other stuff in general, hah Sweeney Todd! saw it a couple weeks ago, the only sucky thing was people's desire to talk and make noises during the movie. Pride and Prejudice Driving Lessons (b/c i love Rupert Grint, plus i think it really is a good movie) i'm starting to really blank now, but i did watch Willow for the first time the other night with my mom. it's hard to explain because i enjoyed the movie, but some of the acting was just like mediocre, and there was random other weirdness that i can't pinpoint. i also think the more old school special effects threw me off a bit.
  13. wow. that was freaking awesome. i totally forgot about the videos from anaheim, and when the video transitioned into that, i was like huh? and then i realized what it was, and gahhh. that performance was so moving. but anyway, the whole video is amazing. btw, nice username. hahah.
  14. hah it's really just my one friend. the burping irks her for some reason. but in my family, it's my mom and i more than anyone that do burp-offs. usually after dinner. i burp at lunch in school, i think it's kinda hilarious. especially if it's a powerful one. hahah. anyway, as you could probably assume from my personal burping activity, i find it endearing that Hayley burped. hahahah.
  15. hahahahah! i never heard that saying before, but i like it. i burp all the time. except in public and around my one friend (who hates it), i stifle it. but at home, man, we practically have contests. i occasionally get some really good ones. hahah.
  16. that's a shame, to be honest. the noob hate is just spreading all over. the lj community, now apparently here. dang. i mean, i must agree that this post was quite random and pointless, though technically related. but still, the noob hate is getting a bit irritating. sorry you feel unwelcome, buddy.
  17. a good 20 minutes ago: Willow (movie) now i'm half-watching What Not To Wear.
  18. hahah beckett? dude, they're so skinny. i actually find it quite repulsive, tbh.
  19. that's half the reason i posted that. ahhahah. i just thought that the boards were lacking in taylor love lately.
  20. bread and butter with dinner. it's a staple in my regular diet.
  21. hey, this thread is totally dead, and i don't like it. actually i just came across this awesome picture on paramore.org and it looks like taylor has a big old scar on his chin, unless that's just a random mark. anyone?
  22. hahahah don't be sorry for being tall. i don't think i'll ever be able to bring myself to wear skinny jeans again. i own one pair from last year that still fit, but i don't really wear them anymore because they're a bit unflattering on my legs.
  23. sorry i'm just kinda jumpin in here. but dude, it does suck being short and "curvy." personally, i think that i am a little more than just curvy. i mean, i'm definitely "curvy" by the definition of a curve, hahah. but sometimes i just feel disgusting, and that's why i hate clothes shopping. yay. but yeah, i'm 5'0" tops, too, and technically i am overweight for my height. i remember the last time i was at the doctor's office, the only thing on my chart that was marked "abnormal" was my weight, and that really hit me. what sucks is that a lot of it is muscle, and i don't want to lose muscle mass to lose weight, if i could ever lose much anyway. ANYWAY, HEIGHT. yeah long pants = total suckness. inevitably, every pair of pants i own need to be hemmed, although half the time, i just cuff them up if it won't be too excessive.
  24. hahah aww. i think total i've had like 2 dreams involving any members of paramore. i know that in one it was like i was in the gym at what was supposed to be my school (it actually felt more like my elementary school of all things, hah!), and all of a sudden Hayley was there but it was like she wasn't famous and no one was really talking to her so we started talking. and then, as happens frequently in my dreams, some crazy stuff started going down, not sure exactly what, but the dream totally changed direction on me and she disappeared. i actually had another really recently, probably like a week ago. but i can't remember for the life of me who specifically was in it or what happened . . . if i'm remembering the right dream, it may have involved me being at multiple dates of Warped Tour. very descriptive, i know. i don't usually remember much about the dreams i have.
