  2. I love(d) "A Fever.." when it came out but I haven't listened to them since then.
  3. Florence & The Machine announce a UK and Ireland tour for 2015: Tour Dates I was hoping for a couple of nights at the O2 in London but they have dates for London's Alexandra Palace instead. That's too far away for me, sadly. Anyone hoping to get tickets?
  4. I really like Emma Stone, too. She was brilliant in "Easy A" and "Crazy Stupid Love".
  5. I saw this on Film4 a couple of weeks ago. Not a bad film, by any means. I don't remember it being in the cinema though. Was it a small independent film?
  6. I finally finished reading "Mockingjay" last night. I can't wait for part 2 in November.
  7. I started reading "Goblet of Fire" again last night after finishing "Mockingjay". I've read the books so many times that I can pick one up at random and know exactly what has happened up until that point. I sat and read six chapters. They're so easy to read I love them.
  8. Doctor Who series one (Christopher Eccleston's series)
  9. Afternoon Florence's new album came out yesterday. Has anybody heard it yet? I'm listening to it on Spotify at the moment. Thoughts?
  10. I loved their Reading set. They dealt with the power cut in such a professional and admirable way. I have so much respect for them.
  11. Here is their American Idol performance: Ain't It Fun"
  12. From the footage on YouTube, these shows looked immense. I wish that I could have been there.
  13. I haven't even been to the tour in London. I'd love to go to the wizarding world in Orlando one day.
  14. I love Gossip Girl. Did anyone else watch it until the end? A friend of mine spoiled the ending for me unfortunately. I would have loved to have watched season six not knowing who Gossip Girl was. I was surprised that the final season was so short. I'm watching re-runs of season 5 at the moment. It's one of my favourite programs. I watch this regularly.
  15. ^ Harry Potter is my "go to" series if I don't know what to read. They're so easy to get into. I love them. I'm reading "Mockingjay" from the "Hunger Games" series at the moment. I saw "...Part 1" earlier on. Looking forward to seeing "Part 2"
  16. I recently saw UK country duo The Shires very locally last month. They are very good live .
  17. I would love a UK leg of this tour. The live videos on Youtube look immense.
  18. I really like her new album "1989". I bought the deluxe edition. I love country music and I know that she was always a country/pop crossover but I never really "got" it, sadly. I'm surprised that the material that I love from her is the sort of stuff on "1989". I genuinely love it. It's been in my car for the last two months. I never thought that I would be a fan of Taylor Swift's music. I loved the collaboration with The Civil Wars on "Safe & Sound".
  19. Huge "Potter" fan here! Love(d) the books and the films. I still read the books regularly. If I don't know what to read I'll pick one of these up. I have yet to go to the studio tour though I would love to one day. I don't think that I would ever want to leave...

    Doctor Who

I'm so behind with "Doctor Who". I only started watching it three months ago. I got Netflix and thought that I'd give DW a go, and I was really surprised when I found myself enjoying it as I never thought that I would. I hasten to add that I've only seen 2004 onwards, I haven't seen any classic Who. I have Peter Capaldi's first series to watch and then I am completely caught up and able to watch it with everybody else when broadcast.
  21. Hi guys! Normally if a film franchise is based on a series of books I'll read them before seeing the film(s) but I never got round to reading "The Hunger Games" before seeing some of the films. I saw the first one at the cinema with a bunch of friends, though I wasn't all that into it. I've since seen "Catching Fire" on Netflix and still didn't really 'get' it, if you like. I bought the books from HMV recently. I've really enjoyed them. I've bought the "The Hunger Games"/"Catching Fire"/"Mockingjay: Part 1" on DVD. I have not yet finished reading "Mockingjay" so I'm trying to hold off watching that film until I have. I am at this moment watching the first film again. I'm definitely enjoying it more this time around.
  22. Fair enough. I am a meat and dairy consumer though eating a vegetarian or vegan meal doesn't bother me. I don't understand people who throw their arms up at the prospect of eating a vegetarian or vegan meal if presented with one. For example, if I ate at a vegetarian or vegan friend's house, not eating meat or dairy for a couple of days wouldn't bother me.
