  1. Uh, not to be rude or anything but you just answered your own question. If the album release date was mentioned in Kerrang then Paramore were in the magazine. They never said there'd be an interview with Paramore, or what it would be in last week's magazine.... so an album date mention would "count" as Paramore being in the mag.
  2. They were basically called the new Beatles over here, got coverage on the news too, and have won practically every award going at music award ceremonies too.
  3. Meh, things change with magazines. It happens. They'll probably be in it next week instead.
  4. Agreed. Although they did have 2 or 3 decent songs on the last album. The new one "Brianstorm" is quite catchy too, but after the disappointment of their first album I won't bother checking the new one out...
  5. The two black ones and the orange one are mens ones... or I think they are. Cause the others say girls on them and the shirt shape is different.
  6. Any idea for what date the single will be out? Hopefully a day earlier for us UKers again =D I shall have to harass Zane Lowe on myspace to try and get Paramore played on Radio 1 and MTV2 closer to the date... of whenever the single gets released.
  7. Yeah same here. Plus not only is it cheaper ordering online but you get it delivered to you on the day of release which is cool if your too lazy to go out and actually buy it.
  8. I'm gonna sound like an 80s hair metal freak or something but any song with a good guitar solo would be my answer. So atm: Kings of Leon - On Call (2:09 - 2:42) And of all time would probably be Guns N Roses - Sweet Child of Mine (3:35 - 4:39) Non guitar solo related: Funeral For A Friend - Novella. The instrumental bit at the end. I love that song cause it's like letting out your frustrations, cause it starts off loud with the shouting and everything and then it sort of "calms" down and the vocals are quieter and then it goes all instrumental for the last minute and a half where it gets louder, then goes quieter again and you can hear a piano and then the instruments stop playing except for the drums and then they stop too.
  9. I suppose so... but the article NME did where they sent someone to the actual auditions for the band, put me right off them... ...and Kids in Glass Houses are a good band yeah. Oh and I just thought of another one: Elliot Minor. And The Darkness! Although I doubt many people here would have liked the "old" Darkness (with Justin Hawkins) but they've got a totally new line up now. Their bassist is now singing and they've got a new guitarist with a more indie background. I haven't heard any of the new stuff but it should be a good mix imo.
  10. I just got another song off the new album - "Out of reach" and it's really good. If you've got a torrent program you can download it here: http://www.mininova.org/tor/629116
  11. I love the extra shouting parts on some songs on the album. I don't know who does them, but they make me laugh... they sound like a constipated zombie or something haha
  12. I used to really like them around the time of "Start Something" but didn't really like the stuff off the new album at first, but it's grown on me now. And of course they're Welsh =D So that's a positive.
  13. Made this yesterday, I'm not sure about the pic though... =/
  14. Awesome. I love it. That is gonna be huge if they put it out as a single... it's sooo catchy. I'm gonna listen to it again hehe
  15. Pete Wentz is the reason why I don't like FOB... although I did enjoy the monkey in the new video going nuts with him all the time.
  16. The new song sounds awesome. Great riff too.
  17. Enter Shikari - Take to the Skies I'm loving this album at the moment

    The Horrors

I heard one of their songs... "Count in Fives" I think it was. It was good, it had a 'different' sound to it. I just checked their myspace out and I like the other songs there too... nice and punkish... if that's a word.
  19. Nope I'm not. Are they honest people? =p
  20. Yeah the older stuff is better imo... although it depends what you like really. "Casually dressed and deep in conversation" was a bit heavier and with shouting on it where as on "Hours" the songs were more... 'mature'... if that's the right word, and there was only one song with shouting on it. So if you like a bit of shouting to add something to a song then check out "Casually dressed..." Songs I'd reccomend: Juneau, She drove me to daytime television, Your revolution is a joke, Rookie of the year, Novella, Monsters, History, and Drive.
  21. It's simplistic... and I think the title fits Paramore's music tbh.
  22. If Paramore played Download I would definitely go. Download has a great line up (so far) this year.... and it's not all metal (quite a lot of mainstream rock bands have been confirmed so far) so I think there's a good chance that Paramore might play it.

    Indie Rock

Ice Palace sound really good, I'll check the others out too. One other indie band I'd recommend (not sure if you guys have heard of them... you probably have) is Kaiser Chiefs. Their new album is awesome.
