  1. Im not really religious but have an amazing set of morals thanks to my awesome parents, but I think this is a really good thing for them to have on the road for these bands. Kudos
  2. Yeah, HQ would rock. Also, we have to get it on sendspace. ZShare is bogus.
  3. Needless to say we will be seeing Hayley and Josh riding around in their Escalades with phatty rims, and boom boom biggety bass romping out. Actually, its worth it if you get a shirt and cool news. Metallica has their club which is $50, but u get an annual fan can which is made up of demos, live recordings, and other cool stuff. You get a shirt for that year you are a member, and deals on tickets. So perhaps Paramore will be hooking up in the near future. Im sure once it is harder for them to do meet n greets they will have "members only" sections where u can hang.
  4. I suggest putting a letter into the envelope u mail the booklet in with stating: Your name Address phone number a check for the club and write that u are sending the money to join the fan club
  5. How awesome is it that Knights of Cydonia is gonna be on Guitar Hero 3? Im soo stoked.
  6. It was indeed genius. Btw a little off topic but is anyone else with last.fm having trouble scrobbling tracks recently? Mine is totally shot. PM me if u are having issues.
  7. C- Can we hurt Kerrang for posting mean things about PARAMORE???
  8. Some of this music is different but bear with me. I really want you guys to download all of it if u have an open mind. One of my biggest loves is getting people into bands they dont know of. Im sure you guys will love it all: 1. Zolof the Rock & Roll Destroyer** - Female fronted power-pop band from PA. Download "Argh Im a Pirate" or "Scream & Run" Anthony Green from Circa Survive and Saosin used to be in this band. Rachel from the band wanted me to spread the word so here they are. They are still up & coming and lost out to Halifax at the recent MTV Dew Circuit Contest, but they are energetic and fun love music. 2. Dir En Grey - Japanese rock band. You wont understand the lyrics. I dont even know what you should download 3. Cruiserweight** - Not exactly weird, but I heard about them at the same time as Paramore. They are pretty much a band of a sister, her two brothers, and their best friend. Check them out. They rock. Download "Operation Eyes Closed" 4. Men, Women, & Children** - Dont know how to categorize them. Download "Monkey, monkey, men" you'll love it. 5. Rammstein - Check out anything other than Du Hast. That song blows hard compared to some of their stuff. You prolly wont know the lyrics, but the music is awesome and different all the time. Download the songs "Moskau" or "Ich Will" (No these guys arent nazis which they are commonly mistaken for. Their songs arent evil either, they are all mostly love songs. You can thank the german language for that misconception.) 6. Weerd Science - Rap project by Josh Eppard of Coheed & Cambria (well formerly of) he is a white rapper that raps about funny stuff. Check it out. Funs beats, and well just fun. 7. Steven Seagal & Thunderbox - Yes the actor is a musician. A damn good one. Only check out his stuff if u like the blues. 8. Rocco DeLuca & The Burden - Once again, if u have an open mind, download some of this stuff. Rocco is an amazing and unique guitarist, and u have Kiefer Sutherland from "24" to thank for finding this band and making their debut album. I recommend the song "Soul". 9. Steve Burns - Download anything from "Songs for Dustmites" this is Steve from the old show Blues Clues. He is mature now and writes adult songs, so dont worry. He is kind of mellow, but really awesome. I recommend "What I do on a Saturday" or "Maintain" < this one helps me sleep at night. 10. Skindred** - Reggae rock metal at its best. I cant exactly say who they sound like. They are quite unique, and im sure some of from the UK know of them. Download "Set it Off" or "Nobody" this is pretty wicked music if u have an open mind. 11. The Fight** - Female punk band from the UK. Once again the UKers might know of them. They are pretty awesome and pack a ton of energy into their shows. 12. Paramore - Ohh wait.....this one is a joke.....obviously. 13. MIA - She totally rocks. I consider this Thrid World Urban Ghetto Dance music. She is from Sri Lanka. You have prolly heard her music and dont even know it. Download "Bucky Done Gun" 14. Mindless Self Indulgence - Not for the kids. Their songs are usually about insane topics, and the lyrics are out there but they are commonly thrown into the genre of "pop pussy jungle rock" if that means anything. Download "Planet of the Apes" or "Cocaine & Toupees" or heck even "Dicks are for My Friends" They use a ton of Atari sound effects, and well, just weird stuff. 15. Danko Jones** - What can I say, download a picture of them and than check them out. Danko Jones is asian guru of rock. Download "First Date" & "Lovercall" 16. Skunk Anansie - Fronted by a bald african woman that can belt it out. They are a little different. Check out "Charlie Big Potato" Last but not least. 17. The Stiletto Formal - I cant say enough about these guys and girls. Download "Hills like White Elephants" and "The Mitress & The Matador" when u first hear them u might think it is a girl singer but it's not. Sorry I lied two more. 18. Killola - Female fronted band by actress "Lisa Riefel" they are out there. Download "Barrel of Monkeys" or "10000 Pound Ego" She has amazing vocal range. When it sounds like a guy is singing....well that is still her. They pack an amazing live show and are online once a week for fan chats and post frequent hilarious videos on YouTube. Needless to say, they are weird but rock. 19. Kittie - If you want your ears to bleed with some awesome female bred hard rock/metal check out Kittie's newest CD "Funeral For Yesterday". I would suggest to download "Will To Live" or "Breathe" or for some chick screamo "Last Goodbye" That is all everyone. Please go check some of it out. I can guarantee everyone will like atleast 5 out of the 17 bands for sure. So go spend an hour and hit up some new songs so we can talk about how rad they are. ** = Hit them up fast
  9. Anyone remember the movie Three Kings? Go check out some Plastic Bertrand.
  10. U like a lot of Japanese stuff, u ever listen to Dir En Grey? I love them, just got into them after seeing Family Values Tour.
  11. I actually prefer the EP over the final versions
  12. "Its On" "Bowling Ball" "Beauty for Pain" and "Suddenly" are musts.
  13. Well check out their new CDs if u havent already. They are still making music that rocks. I can really suggest "Beauty for Pain" if u like more rock.
  14. I would but my program is not Vista compatible (hits head against wall) perhaps I can do it on my bro's compy.
  15. SO! Paramore are christian, who else loves Superchic[k]? I have been following them for years and know Trish, and Max and they present themselves just as Paramore does. They are incredible rolemodels too. So, tell us what ur favorite album is and why? Personally, I love Regeneration cuz I prefer more rock and those remixes were awesome. As for best album with original songs, Id have to say "Karaoke Superstar"
  16. It's funny they mention "Dont Speak" as that video focused on Gwen Stefani getting all the attention in No Doubt. Why cant these writers get their facts straight, or atleast hang out with the band for a little to get the right story?
  17. Well of course there are gonna be flocks of new fans showing up all over the place. Just look at our "Introduction" section. The main thing we have to worry about are people coming around that dont respect Paramore and their privacy. Im not worried about new fans, as I am considered one too (as far as this forum is concerned) just think of how much this community can grow beyond what it already is (which is amazing as is). I dont mind MTV much, but u are gonna get the "I wanna get in Hayley's pants" "OMFG who is Josh dating?" "OMFG I Have Zac's cell number. I hacked his computer" people coming around, but we will have more people out there to bring us more media, pictures, and incredible stories. On top of that, we can all adopt a noob and show them how awesome Paramore is and has always been. Plus think about how much more energy this can create within the band to do even better (ie with Riot!: Josh's/Hayley's writing, Zac's drumming, and Jeremy's......well his headband) either way we all win in the end. Sure there are gonna be bigger venues, less one on one time with the band, but that is the problem with finding genuinely good bands early in their career. So, who wants to adopt me?
  18. Not sure but in case u wanna know: Lipgloss was number 2, and Umbrella was number 1. Wow. I cant believe I actually turned on the tv.
  19. Wow, u could even say there are two Paramore's on there
  20. Target has a brand of men's shirts called "Red Level Nine" and it is like club wear. They have some shirts out here in the midwest that are like carbon copies of the "Emergency" shirt. Some have vertical stripes, others have horizontal. They are about $25
  21. Im sure he is, but we dont talk about that kinda stuff
  22. Just imagine how floored Hayley prolly was to even be on TRL. She used to love that show if she loved N Sync And some of u guys need to ease up on the anger. This should be a happy place to talk about one of the world's best bands
  23. Runs back to watch the eyebrows. edit: WOAH, her eyebrows are totally gone, kaput! Burnt off. Ohh sorry, just kidding.
  24. Yeah pretty wicked nickname. The funny thing is that I didnt even care about the thank you's before typing this out, but it proved to be a fun read.
