Unless Jelsoft (the makers of vBulletin) are evil, I don't think they charge for updates haha. No forum software company does that I know of, and I work in the industry as a full time job, so I'm pretty sure the update won't cost anything. If you have a license for the software, you get the update, as long as your license is active.

Not sure why I didn't notice this before, but do you SEE that DETERMINATION on Hayley's face? She is soo set on skating better than everyone else haha I love her facial expression.

I know for the upcoming vBulletin 4.0 there will be some hook modifications for a sidebar that comes default with that update, which is basically an exact copy of Invision Power Services' sidebar, where people have statuses and people can view them on the sidebar, along with recent topics, popular topics, and a bunch of other additional addons for the sidebar, that always peak interest, especially for those who are into Facebook/Twitter updates. I know Invision Power Services has a very customizable system, but of course this board is running vBulletin, so I can't say how similar theirs will be when v4 is out, but I would assume somewhat similar. That may spike some sort of interest in being active. (Again, just throwing ideas out there. Add/tweak as you wish! Let's think of some good stuff together!)

But in theory, the more members there are on a forum, the more activity there is. Unless most people that join a Paramore forum either don't like Paramore or something. Another thing I noticed is that there are guests that view the forums as guests and look at whatever they want, then leave. Maybe if there were guest restrictions, it would make people more likely to join and post. Again, these are all just ideas I'm throwing out there. I'm not saying everything will work, just trying to get people thinking of possibilities.

On top of what I said before, we could also start a referral program. I know there are referral modifications out there that you could add to the forums. And what it does is that it helps determine who refers the most people here. Consider it a contest. Whoever gets the most people to register, wins. It kills two birds with one stone. It is a competition, and it brings more people here, which causes an increase in activity. Just an idea. It doesn't always work so flawlessly depending on how well people try or something, but I see it a lot on forums. Again, just an idea. Don't kill the messenger, just throwing things out there

I like it, but I think MySpace layouts are getting so glamorized that it slows down loading the page and images load slow as well. But I see this happening with a lot of bands on MySpace. The backgrounds are getting really detailed and cool looking..but it's taking a toll on the ease of use.

Well we could probably add some cool modifications to the board to make things interesting, and relate them to Paramore, probably. There are an unbelieveable amount of changes that could be done to the board itself to spark activity. Of course, we don't want people to be post count obsessive, because it is merely a number, so I don't want to say I'm suggesting we find ways for people to just raise their post count in meaningless off topic threads, but simply give incentives for participating on the board itself, not just forum posting. My company doesn't work with vBulletin, so I don't know what specifics there are for doing this, but I work with other forum software that I know there are many fun ways to make things lively and more interesting. But on the other hand, it is downtime for Paramore, so not much has been happening lately. I'm sure once the band announces a tour, or hits the road, things will pick up more, as interest grows. Maybe other members have some ideas we could toss around and see what we can do. I'm sure out of all of us, there has to be some creative minds!

Looks awesome. I think it will be a respectable biography. It's awesome seeing people want to write about Paramore. I think they have such a great story and it needs to be told. Very inspirational.

Taylor's house was broken in to. He didn't go. But I know Zac and Josh were there. There just happens to be no pics in this thread of them. I saw a pic someone from the PFC took of Josh and posted it on Twitter. Didn't see any pics of Zac yet, but they were there.

More stuff on the way once I have free time and maybe some more Paramore stocks. I normally don't make much Paramore stuff...so I'm lacking content in this post, sorry. But this is just for fun. I normally make forum stuff, since I own a forum skinning business, so this stuff is just for giggles. Nothing serious. (the black background is just because the white borders won't show on light forum skins, so I added the black behind it so it would show)

I was skeptical at first. Gave it a few listens on sites like lala and such and it grew on me. When I really started recognizing the vocal talent it made me much more interested. At first I thought the crowd/group vocals were used too much, but I realized how intentional that was, because 30StM is all about their fans, and they wanted the album to sound like it was a group singing, not just Jared. And now it really made an impact on me and I love the new album. It is stylistically different from past albums, but I love it. Change is good in this case. I can't stop listening to it now.

haha yea my camera has like 1x zoom hahaha it's soo old. I got it back in the day when digital cameras were still not too popular for like a few hundred bucks. now i could get the same thing for $50 easily haha. that guard in Boston was a jerk about it, though. boo.

I'll give you my camera to hide then haha. you will have a belt full of cameras. hopefully security won't pull the same crap about my camera as they did in Boston. security: "oh that's professional." me: "uh no, it's just old." security: it has a big lens, that is borderline professional" me: "no. it is just old. old cameras are big. this thing is like 2 megapixels." *facepalm*

Got my tickets. Still don't know who I am taking with me, but I'm going no matter what. If only it were as easy for guys to hide cameras as it is for girls. Gotta start thinking up strategies haha

I'm happy for Josh. To me, it seems a bit young, but age doesn't matter in his case. He is mature enough and obviously has the money to afford a marriage. I wish him the best of luck and a big congrats!
