fergie
Do you know of a place better than megaupload that i can use for my videos? because dont they like expire after a short time there. I dont wanna put them on youtube either because they wont be 640x480 resolution.
thebrowncoat
I don't think megaupload links expire...I've got stuff up there that's been up for quite awhile and it's still there...the PF.com interview with Paramore is still up there, for example... Great review again - so awesome that you got to go to all 3 shows...was it a big crowd in Cleveland again? As for the crowd surfing, this just probably means we won't be seeing Paramore playing without a barricade at most shows from now on...if people start getting up onstage and potentially messing up their equipment, the band has almost no choice but to put a barricade up. That's a shame...
fergie
Ok i guess i will use megaupload then as for the crowd in cleveland... it was pretty big for how small the room was. It wasnt much bigger of a place than the beat kitchen, and that is the tiniest venue ive ever heard of. I have a feeling that if the opening bands were different (like maybe excluding Hit the lights) that the crowd surfing wouldnt be a problem at all. HTL is the only band that i can see people wanting to crowd surf for. It would really suck if they always needed barricades from now on because i love being right on the stage. jchurch004
dang hit the lights is so woosey too lmao.. i remember seeing them before silverstein went on and i was like god these guys are so woosey, as if ppl are msohing and shit to them haha.. they need to go to a metal show with me.. suzanne
great review. im so excited now i really cant wait - 7 days! and thats awesome there was no barricade but if people are there to enjoy the show why would they take the chances of ruining it like that, but whatever. i wished i had meet and greet tickets. how many people were at the meet and greet?
fergie
i think there were about 20 or 25 people at the meet and greet but im not exactly sure.
thebrowncoat
i think there were about 20 or 25 people at the meet and greet but im not exactly sure. Wow, really? It's even less than I thought then. I was guessing they'd have about 50 there. That's even cooler.
Lanizzle
Sucks that people were crowdsurfing. Hope they don't have a barrier at Slim's. Thanks for the review though, glad you had an amazing time! Sounds awesome. I'm soo excited for my date. Though I wish there were M&G tickets for my show, not having to wait in line all day, and still meeting them and getting front row..gaah. Oh well, I'll just wait 8 hours for that LOL. thebrowncoat
Yeah, the meet & greet tickets are turning out to be pretty awesome - you get to meet the band with a small group and it sounds like it's a pretty cool hangout and chat situation and you get to be in the front without waiting in line. That's a pretty darn good deal.
suzanne
yeah i wish i was part of it =[
fergie
Even if you dont have meet and greet tickets you can most likely meet the band after the show by their bus. I forgot to mention that after we left the venue we walked around in front of the tour bus to get back to our car and hayley came out. I didnt think fast enough to say anything though so we just left I also noticed josh talking to a group of people outside, but it wasnt the same kind of one on one experience that you get at the meet n greet. fergie
Here is my videos from the Agora theater. I feel the need to apologize for the poor quality of audio in these. I was in somewhat of a rush to purchase a new camera before this show and I didn't have a chance to test it out beforehand. Also there was alot of crowd surfing goin on, so once in a while it goes black for a second but its not too bad. neversummergirl
Thanks so much for the videos! Plus the review was greatt glad you had fun =) I'm also happy to hear that there were only 20-30 people at the M&G .. was it sold out or no? That gives me some slight hope that I won't get stuck behind TOO many people haha .. since I don't have M&G tickets. I'm pretty sure Paramore won't be hanging near their tourbus after the NYC .. i don't even know how they are getting the bus into the city in the first place .. but mayyybe for the Jersey show they will? Idk, I just want a chance for my friend to meet them lol .. I've met them three times and she hasn't once yet. (Plus of COURSE I want to talk to them hehe)

cheleawelseyx
yep i went and it was ABSOLUTELY THE BEST NIGHT OF MY ENTIRE LIFE. wow where to begin... I had the meet and greet for this night' date=' we got there at about 5:15 and the m&g was supposed to be 5:30. well actually they let us in at like 5:45 and the band didnt come in until 6:00 or so. But it was so friggin awesome. Paramore's tour manager guy (or whoever he is) brought all the m&g people aside and explained how it was gonna work. Basically we go into the room down by the stage, and he brings in the band and we just hang out and chat for a while and take pictures and stuff. Then he informed us that we have to all sing Happy Birthday to hunter since it was his 21st b-day. It was nice. i was the first person to introduce myself to hayley when she came down from the stage. Then we met Zac and Jeremy and i took a picture of them with my sister. I got a pic of Hayley and i too. Then the best part, when we were standing around and Josh comes over and we ended up talking to him for like 5-10 minutes. I thought i would be nervous but they are so nice and josh is real easy to talk to. then we got a picture of josh and i. But then they had to leave cuz the doors were gonna open in 3 minutes, so we secured our positions right in front of the stage. And this was like the greatest stage ive ever seen. There was no guard rail and it was only about 3 feet tall, so all of us in the front row were like halfway on the stage leaning on their monitors and stuff. Through the whole show i had to be careful that the band members wouldnt step on my fingers. And the vocalist from This providence was coming about a half inch from hitting me in the head with his guitar... All the bands put on a really good show that night. I especially enjoyed CIWWAF. Shaant gave me both of his bottled waters. and he leaned over and rested his head on my sisters shoulder as he was singing. Its funny to think that i didnt even know of these bands before the tour, and now after seeing them three times i freakin love em. They changed the order in which the bands played back to what it was in chicago, where hit the lights played last before paramore. Although i thoroughly enjoyed HTL's show, i was disappointed to see that even with such a tiny stage with no guardrail, people started crowd surfing. They would end up landing on the stage and the staff would escort them off to the side. I thought to myself, "there's no way they could crowdsurf up there when paramore has the keyboard and shit all set up right there". I managed to hold my position up front through the entire show, but once paramore came out i was a little further left of center than I'd liked to have been. but it was the best, most awesomest show that i will probably ever see. Paramore played the same set, including every song from awkif. They seemed to have some technical difficulties but it didnt hinder their performance one bit, they just keep getting better and better. People started crowdsurfing right into their keyboard equipment so their tour manager guy had to get out on the front of the stage and protect it from the people. I couldnt believe that people were so inconsiderate as to nearly fuck up their show by getting in their way on stage and knocking shit over. They couldnt get the acoustic guitar to work right for some reason so josh played my hero and franklin on his usual guitar instead. The vocals for my hero were crazy good. I got videos of brighter, my hero, hallelujah and my heart. they should be uploaded later tonight sometime. I didnt get that many good pictures, because when i bought my new camera, memory card, and batteries that morning to replace my old one i forgot that the batteries werent gonna be charged yet so i couldnt use my flash too much without draining them. So instead i just got videos mostly.[/quote'] what did you and josh talk about? im just asking because i have a meet and greet for the philly show and i have no idea what to say to them. i dont want to be so nervous to not say anything to them, so if i have a conversation starter i think i would be better off, thanks alot.
