so feedback on the new cd, i know its been out for a little bit but im def going to get it, i just want to know how it is :]

I was bitterly disappointed with the album (as were a lot of people) it didn’t fill the potential of the earlier ep’s or even the over-the-top cheesy “Men In Black” cover.

It just seemed a bit flat, lyrically lacking, rushed and the re-recorded tracks just spoilt the memory of the earlier songs……and they just sound awful live.

Shame when I was looking forward to it :(

(My view before anyone says anything ;-))

BTW UK Kids they are doing a national tour soon and the promo for the launch of the album is coming so look out for the posters/badges/stickers/patches especially if you live in my city ;-)

They are supporting Cobra Starship on their UK tour this September, dates in the Cobra thread.

If I was FTSK (which I'm evidently not:p) I'd still ride out the Cobra tour first.

It's just the way my mind works though. Cobra had a successful GIAN and were on a tour with a pretty decent band in ATL over May. They are on a record label which is immensely popular and are guaranteed to be listened to by some people on the sole fact they are on FBR. They are getting increasing time on television aswell, hell I saw one of their videos just this evening.

Now, I believe that FTSK have never came over here before? If that's the case, in my eyes, would it not be beneficial for them to ride the coat tails of this tour? Try and tap into the increasing Cobra fanbase and generate a concrete UK standing before embarking on a UK tour of their own?

Cobra aren't exactly headlining the biggest of venues on this tour, I've saw Manchester Orchestra headline bigger venues, could FTSK sell out these venues by themselves? If they could then they should go by themselves, but unless I'm underestimating their fanbase, I would think it would be helpful atleast to stay on the Cobra tour.

When I get bored at night, I make needlessly long posts about, essentially, moot points.
