Mom's Era: Joan Jett From 'Bad Reputation' to 'I Love Rock- n-Roll,' Joan Jett's brash vocals, leather pants and defiant sneer defined bad girl rock in the '80s. Fun Fact: Her rebel sound crossed into the mainstream in 2002 when a then squeaky clean Britney Spears covered 'I Love Rock-n-Roll.
